So why haven’t any other clubs head hunted him? Is it that he has no ambition to do it all again? We know he’s driven by money so it’s strange he’s not out there looking for his next take.

We are all driven by money. It is in fact quite an healthy motivation. The ownership had worked for 14 years and taken no dividends until around 2014 or 2015. This is why the 21% owner is skint. Why work for 14 years for nothing?. I actually believe the so called sell out did not take enough cash. 14 years of hard graft for next to nothing. 2002 -2010 was for little on no reward. SCFC PLC is a growth stock not an income stock. You have to sell your shares to profit. Everyone knows this but none of the 1000 members seemed to know. There were some suggestions he was approached by another club, can’t remember who. But, love him, loathe him or something in between he is and always has bee a Swans fan. IMO the Americans should have cut ties with the group they took over from. I think he had already burned out by the time of the share sale. I also think he put his money in, he took his profit out. Would we have got to the PL without him?

There were reports back in 2020 that he tried to takeover Charlton.

Yes it is true, "How Watson’s move to west Wales impacts on current CEO Julian Winter will become clearer this coming week. We do get the impression though that more changes in club structure could well be implemented as time goes on."

Huw pulled the plug on a loan deal for £1.5m rising to £10m on promotion. Effectively helping arrival Leeds get promotion when Swansea was in with chance themselves. He was quite right to pull the plug. It cost Leeds promotion that season in my opinion. They want to move him on again if relegated. Another mistake. James eats lumbering Championship defenders for breakfast. He would be licking his lips if Martin played Latibeaudiere or Darling out of position again against him. I am surprised some Swansea fans sympathise with Yorkshire squealing after they failed in burying a distressed seller. They squeezed the lemon too hard until the pips flew out. The US owners were no doubt angry with him but then discovered when they sold him for £15m that he had made the club £1m a month. I am not disputing the bad recruitment record before that. His recruitment guru was Mr Ledbetter who worked well on lower budgets but made some howlers for big ticket players. Remember Huw was never sacked. He resigned.

Agree for the first time with you mucka, hope Leeds come down as I haven't forgiven them for the 15 point deduction debacle.

Joseph sorted the stadium. Morgan lent some money. Penney was a solicitor. Dineen was in charge of all non football staff and commercial. Don keef was an accountant and obviously the trust had cooze who fed back the supporters thoughts. It ended up a perfect alignment but probably never to be replicated again. We move on.
