How the assessment can go from Walsh being outstanding in training to then needing to come through a fitness test to be available on Saturday is a contradiction in terms surely.
Unfortunately for us and moreso Liam he seems to be made of wet paper. |
I am of the mindset he will ever make it as a “ full time”player
It’s not fair on the club to employ someone like him so utterly fragile
It’s a tough business and he isn’t
We will probably offer him another contract as he’s a good trainer | |

Fair point that, but you just don't know in Liam's case.
He'd be playing at a higher level if his body didn't break down with the regularity it does, cracking player, its a massive same for him and it must be massively frustrating for him, he must be mentally very strong fair play to him. [Post edited 9 Nov 2023 10:46]

Abdullai Azeem looks real good to me. This is his breakout season. He was obliged to play out of position before Tymom and pederson came in and then he got injured. |  |

I reckon Walsh may very well give us a bit game time seeing as he is now close to fitness, may only be 45 minutes or so but that is game time none the less, after that we can then look forward to his next return in March. | | | |

I appreciate that, but alarm bells ring when Liam and fitness test are mentioned in the same sentence 
Feel sorry for the lad he's clearly a talented footballer and must have incredible inner strength to keep going, just hope he can stay injury free for himself and the Swans.
Reminds me of Daniel Sturridge to some degree, but Walsh seems mentally stronger than Sturridge was over the length of his career. | |
