I am all for these things. Cable car and tram to Mumbles. UK is fabulously rich only the working classes unemployed and Government that has no money.

Swansea will never be able to survive as a centre of excellence for shopping that’s a fact. Fewer and fewer places will in the future. But we have natural beauty in the area which needs to be exploited to the full. I’m for this scheme as well and would love to see a tram from the centre to Mumbles. Probably not in my lifetime. |  |

Hopefully the council have inserted clauses in the contract that grants are only given when physical targets have been completed, unlike the Senedd and the race track. The mumbles train is only a pipe dream as the comercial developments current and proposed make it a non starter. |  | | |

I do hope you're correct but when Companies go bust they tend not to pay back loans if that's what it is and why would they need at the moment over 10 million ( that has gone up from the original loan which was half that figure ) of someone else's money if they're investing £35 million. People and politicians are rightly concerned especially when you read that the business plan had gone through the Welsh Government and been “fully tested”, would that be fully tested like the many other failed projects which have either fallen at the first fence of failed at conception stage | |

Linking the student village in Hendrefoilan, the singleton campus, the city centre student accommodation, plus high st accommodation and rail network, new cut student accommodation and fabian way campus. Neath / Port Talbot myself as a Council Tax Payer , issues here are roads are a minefield to navigate , botch patch up jobs which fall apart after a few days of traffic , prorities first .
Is that ski slope behind Morrisons still there , a Private Enterprise which ran out of steam and attendance maybe , skiing in Swansea onto a loser from the off .
The views from the top of Kilvey Hill are outstanding I agree , but nothing up there is worth a cable car ride for the masses .

As I said it hasn't happened in 60 years when it was more practical, it won't happen now. Unless of course the Senedd paid for it as a vanity project like the government did for the Olympics, but I for one hope they spend our money on more important things unlike Cardiff Airport. | | | |
