I am quite surprised about the comments in the media concerning supporting Trumps and Netinyahu s attack in Iran.
Youngish Asian UK MP are well to the fore. Pritt Patel is a Hindu and Zia Yusuf is a Muslim from Sri Lanka. Iran is Shia Muslim.. Zia Yusuf does not give his religious affiliations but most probably Sunni.
Both them, it could be argued have religious reasons to use the UK army to attack Iran apart from British national security reasons.
The War dog s are laying into Starmer playing politics instead of working in the UK national interest. We do not want young British men fighting holy wars as proxies for Shia Sunni or whatever religion the Isreali s are.
Starmer must stand firm. It is unlikely Patel or Yusuf gave religious motives for conflict. Welsh MS are more likely to be pro Kurdish another factor in the complex matrix.
Western votes do not understand the Shia / Sunni schism and Muslims do not promote it. Viewer should consider this schism when Muslim MP speak. It nay not be a real factor given years of assimilation..

A lot of the criticism is for the failure/delay to send support to help defend Iranian targets in places like Cyprus. To have warships permanently broken down and sitting in docks waiting for repair for years shows a ludicrous complacency from a series of governments but he’s in charge now and the buck has to stop with him.

Depends what he knew and when, but he can’t be blamed for the lack of ships. One ship has been in for refurb for 3000 days while the majority have been in since before he came to power.

No hate Tsar is required for Hebrew speaking people. UK law takes the definition of Antisemitism from their community and incorporated it in UK law (as guidance).
