How many managers try to phase Leon out only to realise he is fundamental to the way we play, he is the metronome that's sets our tempo.
I honestly thought he would play in the cup and back on the bench yesterday but thankfully Francesco played him

Head Coach
at 21:41 1 Aug 2016

In the UK we now the gaffer as the Manager, to me this conjures up a Fergie/ Clough/ Shankly type figure who manages everything within the club, a head coach is different and mainly coaches a squad, sets the pattern of play and picks the best formation, he might say I need an attacking wing back (for instance) and might make a suggestion but it is up to the scouts to identify.
The chairman may ring agents and ask what wing backs do you have on your books and they may give a list, the scouts will run the rule over them and when identified, the chairman or CEO will negotiate
Managers these days are few and far between

Should we push the boat out and go and get Wilfried Bony? For me, he knows our game and would live to see the Gylfi/ Bony link up again

Will you support the Swans in the JPT this season? If we get Category One then our youngsters will be competing against the likes of Yeovil, Exeter, Newport and Bristol Rovers.

I feel sorry for Barrow

It was all going tickety boo for young Mo Barrow, went away on international duty, arrives back late and is not considered for Stoke. Montero comes in, plays well and starts v Chelsea.
Remember the quote from Greavsey in the 80's "it's a funny ol' game" never a truer word spoken
