Absolutely no reason to sell Lumley unless stupid money comes in. The no. 1 at the club, young (very young for a keeper) and he will get better. Loves the club, grateful for his chance and surely even QPR didn't hand out a ridiculous wage to him for his latest contract.

Said this before but I would have been perfectly happy with backing Lumley to the hilt as undisputed #1, an experienced career backup like Murphy in reserve, and grooming Dieng for sale (or Lumley replacement) out on loan again, with Brzozowski next to step up. That's how every bloody club does it but we have to think we're clever with bargains we don't need/can't cultivate and competing keepers even though it's a mistake we've made several times now. | | | |
