A team for something to play for against a team with nothing to play for. They are quicker in and out of possession and have a couple of decent players.
Manning’s crosses have been our biggest threat.
Cameron had a terrible half with two mistakes that were Sunday league level.
Their goal, despite looking offside, was too easy with the centre back ghosting past a non-existent challenge from Chair.
Eze not doing much at all and looks to be on one of his slumps.
One dodgy kick from Lumley but a couple of solid saves and one brilliant pass out to Bright.
Kakay impressing again.

Well that was poor.
Gave the ball away too much, too slow in our build up and created virtually nothing.
Don't want to dig him out, but its no good having the best passing/assists in the world or whatever it was if you don't defend - yes Mr Manning I'm looking at you.
Kakay and Kane only ones who look on it to me.

I know that he has wrongly been accused of being lazy because of the way he plays, but the last couple of days it has to be said that either he has gone off the boil or the tweaks to the set up means that he is not receiving the ball where he can probe forward easily, he is just a shadow of the player we were seeing before the enforced break.
Cameron looks Sunday league tonight and you have to wonder what is keeping Masterson out of the team - it can only be experience over youth with Kakay playing alongside Cameron.
Ball cannot get on it and pas it tonight,
Oteh and Bos and Chair have to quickly decide who is going to go where so that when we do get near their box, they are not falling over each other and getting in the way of chances.
Lumley is again having a great game, both in terms of stops and with his distribution quick and generally very accurate, one slightly dodgy kick out but at least the Wigan player he passed it to was in the centre circle so no real harm done.

Think he's just been a yard or two off the pace in every game since the restart and his passing is woeful. Sometimes his tackling too, but there's a whole half left and if the energy picks up across the whole team, maybe it'll turn out different.

Well that was bollôcks. Cameron and Kane are absolute liabilities. Our first touch over most of the pitch is woeful, we are slow in our build up and just not showing space. Totally opposite to what we have been for most of the season. Love to see their front two poached if they go down. Moore certainly has a good football brain and their number nine looks a handful. | |
