The last time I paid this much attention to us away to Ipswich, me and Mrs Superhoop went to Portman road, and we won 2-0

I have even found the match report on the beeb website

And guess what, Ipswich were up for promotion then too and we were staving off relegation.

So, I am going to go with a 2-0 win tonight

Enjoy the report as it brings back memories - Great day out as I remember

We should be afraid. Very afraid.

They have Dom Ball.

Many posters thought he was poor.....actually, he was exactly what the team wanted!!!!!!

Is the match on the 'red button' tonight?

Bit like Luongo too

Would take him over Dozzell too

Dom Ball was 100% a committed player

Luongo a constant seven out of ten and regular starter. A very decent championship performer.

Ball was injured most of Ipswich s promotion season and only six appearances this, I believe all substitute appearances.

If Sinclair Armstrong leaves, fondness will multiply the longer the memories will fade !!!!

I don’t get the persistence with Dozzell though. Rather have Smyth in the side with Chair dropping into midfield in a 4-2-1-3 formation.

When Colback comes in, be interesting to see the midfield three chosen..

Has no one told Armstrong and Dunne that they've stormed out of the club??

BIg game for Armstrong.

Maybe he was told to withdraw his QPR pics from his social media as would not have gone unnoticed by Ipswich so perhaps last minute preparations could have been hampered.

The modern game !!!!

Strange part of the transfer deal - they were adamant that he had to play against them, should we meet.
I actually don't mind him in a more defensive role, not many of the goals we concede come through him, he's positional strong. Unfortunately, the opposition just target the gaps elsewhere
