Am I the only one who thinks we might end our woeful away record with a win at a ground we've never won at before...?

Thought so!

Yes.

We'll lose 4-0 like we normally do.

the difference this season is we'll play really well... but still end up losing somehow!

I think we will draw 1-1... just like in JFH's last game in charge.

Same old every year. Crap.

I fully expect a change of manager in the week that follows.

Lose the next 2 at home and it'll be 'new manager bounce' v Forest

Which makes the constant hunger for management change among some QPR fans even more unfathomable. We don't even, ever, get the short term lift a change usually provides.

Holloway - one win and six defeats from his first seven matches.
JFH - No wins from first seven, one win from first ten, two wins from first 14
Ramsey - one win and six defeats from first seven, three wins from first 15
Redknapp - one win from first eight, three wins from first 18
Hughes - Two wins from first ten

It is absolutely unfathomable why so many think the manager is the problem at QPR so often, and if only change it once more the next bloke will definitely get this bunch of players performing.

Oh and there's as much chance of us winning at Forest as me taking one of the Hooters waitresses home after.

Maybe we don't sack em enough.

If you booted one out every month, statistically you'd most likely win the League. QPR aside, that is.

Yeh apart from QPR - if we did that we'd never win again going by how high the last five 'bounced'.

I'm with you Kent. My first trip to the City Ground, so I would like to think that changes everything entirely. On that note, have away tickets come out yet for Forest?

Just because I’m working and can’t make the game means that we’ll be virtually assured of winning,or drawing or losing.

Will you stop trying to confuse people with facts.

It's well known that an emotional response, without anything to back it up, is far more likely to sway people's opinions than a considered response with statistics to back it up.

I am pretty sure IHs one win in that seven matches was his first in charge.
As far as QPR goes that definitely counts as as a new manager bounce!

I've been to many a drubbing (4-0, 5-2, 5-0) at the City Ground + the occasional draw (1-1 last year and the 2-2 when Alberti scored). I can't make it this year so we're bound to win.

Should have one on the opening game of the season in 1990, 1-0 up with a few mi it’s to go and Bardsley slips and lets them in for a late equaliser.

My happiest memory of the city ground was us getting a 2-2 draw there back in 89.

Paul Wright scoring both after we were 2-0 down

I went last year and felt we were unlucky not to win, despite the ten men and late equaliser. I can't go this year and feel I may regret that.
