She can write a choon! Don't think she pulled off the ballad but the first two are cracking indie-pop numbers. Great melodies. Very early-90's, as you say.

I didn't think I needed any new music from Hum, but their new album sounds great to me. My favorite of the bunch is below.
I've always liked the ambience of Julianna Barwick, who also put out a new album this year. Collaborated with Jonsi on a song.

Hi Brian et al. Its been a while. Pandemic has got me back listening to music. These guys have been been taking up a lot of the time. Manchester Orchestra, also from Georgia. Been on the go a little more than 10 years. Really like them and interested to see if anyone on here knows of them.

I saw Manchester Orchestra at Riot Fest 2019 in Chicago. I was aware of the band's existence but not all that familiar with their music. I posted up at their stage because Bloc Party was going to play the Silent Alarm LP start-to-finish (well, it ended up being finish-to-start) immediately after MO's set, and I wanted a good spot for that.
I was blown away by MO's set. I'll post the song that clinched it for me. It elicits an emotional response even after repeated listens.
This new track from the Polish multi-instrumentalist starts off a bit Jethro Tull but then the riffing kicks in and it rocks out. Never heard of him before today.
