This may have appeared elsewhere, but what do our Scottish football experts think of this guy? Could he do the business down here in the Championship?

https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/lawrence-sha

Had read elsewhere he rejected a move to England when Dundee United picked him up from Ayr.

It’s Dundee UNITED. NOT Dundee it’s UNITED. Bit like calling QPR Chelsea.
Anyway, I’m living up here now and I hope Warburton can use his connections and tie up a deal for Shankland . Even £3 million is a steal.

Even better. We can ransom him back to both!

Never knowingly right.

Warburton is sitting in W12 saying 'JC's living up there now, I hope he's using his connections to tie up Shankland, I'll give him a couple of days'.
Somethings got to give here!

Jonson Clarke Harris is a player I've rated and tracked for a while.

I believe he suffered an injury a while back that put him out for a long old while.

He's one I'd certainly take a punt on from Brizzle Rovers.... £500k should be in our bracket.

For Godsake just use Mlakars wages to get him! How we were potentially going into this season with Mlakar as an integral part of our strikeforce I do not know. Been an awful waste of a loan and a wage.

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Not sure if that's Mlakar's fault as he's hardly been selected. I'm sure he'll feel the loan has been a waste of time too.

JCH has scored some serious goals to be fair.

Clarke-Harris is a L1 player, no better than that.

Don't think we've seen enough of Mlakar to comment really - certainly don't recall him being completely awful when he did play.

In any case he was signed before we knew Hugill and Wells were in the bag, at short notice and presumably not too expensive since MW's old mucker Davie Weir at Brighton sorted it out for us.

From what I read his stats coming from Slovenia were pretty impressive... scoff all you like but it was only the other week many on here were scratching their heads wondering where Brentford get these exotic players from.

Charlton have offered £1m for Jonson Clarke-Whatshisface apparently

Sorry but Mlakar reminds me very much of myself when I moved up front.

Willing runner but runs all to the wrong areas
Not strong enough to hold it up
Zero ability in the air
Bereft of skill and pace
Couldn’t finish an all day breakfast

Apart from that I agree he’s been a wonderful loan signing
(Caveat.... better than Priskin or Bent I’ll give ya!!)
I hear he’s off though so bye bye

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

You'd have to take him at that price.

Very in depth analysis of a player who has played 100 minutes of football for us.

I think you may have judged myself after 10 minutes

Usually I would agree a run of games needed but sometimes you can just tell.
Maybe he’s distantly related to George Weah

Don’t put it on me Karl. I went to Dundee today to buy a pullover and came back with a bottle of whisky.

Strong and stable my arse.

I remember being very impressed with him at a home game years ago and surprised he didn't seem to do any better than he has since then.

Couldn't have been watching that close. Games 174 Goals 25. Another Washington with one good season in fourth tier.
