Rangers and politics 16:48 - Jun 11 with 6090 viewsMoonshineSteve

Mate of mine is doing his masters on politics among football fans in different countries. He asked me if there had ever been any political activity at Loftus Road. I couldn't think of anything significant.

Anyone recall anything?

I am still Steve but no longer in Dagenham.

Everything the club does is political but facetiousness aside i’ve seen more inside than outside.

Party wise Amit Bhatia and Jamie Reuben both big Tory donors and i’ve also seen photos of Sadiq Khan and Rossana Ali Khan launching policies from there.

John from the Socialist Party often sells copies of his book outside:

His ST was two rows in front of us in the lower loft with his kid.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Always wanted to but have not yet bought a copy. He's been selling that for years now. Has it been updated ever?

In 56 years of going to Loftus Road I can happily report I have witnessed zero political activity and long may that continue.

The late Lord Gould and his daughter used to sit in the same row as me at the back of the Loft.
