I was listening to talksport earlier, and they was on about how best to play against Erling Haaland.
Simon Jordan said that Man Utd were just laying off him.
The thing with trying to stop Haaland is you then have to try to stop Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish etc…….
So here’s my question with my QPR hat on:

God, I remember be at that game. Gazza was playing for Newcastle at the time.
In answer to the OP, much as i love Maddix, Parker and Macca, Haaland is a different level of striker that they ever faced. His movement, just 1 or 2 yards either way is exceptional, you can't coach that. | | | |

I agree, Fash the Bash got totally marked out of many games by Paul Parker despite being taller than him. Parker was also faster than Walker.
Paul Parker at CB or Sweeper was world class so, much so, that Pele came to see him play.
Manure and England playing him at RB was a criminal waste of talent. If he had been German they would have built the team around him coming out with the ball. |  |

Macca would have matched him in the air but his second goal Sunday seperates him from every striker on the planet right now .
The pace and skill to slide and reach that lazer cross is just too hard to defend IMO.
Imagine KDB is having serious fun whipping crosses into the box knowing Haaland is going to reach it high or low its amazing to watch.
Like a poster above pointed out you might keep him quiet for a while but there is other world class players pulling the strings and the dam will finally burst.
I for one hope he stays healthy just to see how far he goes this year | | | |
