I present for m'lords' pleasure and m'learned friends from Dull, irrefutable evidence that my client, Burrell, is innocent of all charges.

Burrell is not only the find of the season but the best find in years here.

Never knowingly right.

Never going to be the greatest footballer, but he works his socks off the team and never gives up.

What more can you ask for?

No need for the implication of negatively in this description

Why not just say - he did great?

Which is what he did. today

He has been brilliant, although am sure Kone was cursing his name today, shot from an acute angle earlier, when a simple cut back would have been a tap in for Kone.

But with Kolli also showing form today and Dembele and Chair impressing, and Vale, Smyth, Poku and Saito in reserve, when on form we are dangerous. I think we are nearer to knowing our first eleven after today though, which is key.

Burrell is a beast though. Love the guy...

Jamie Mackie mk2

Think he’s a better player than Mackie ever was and I liked Mackie as much as anyone for what he did offer. Obviously his strengths are pace and sheer graft but he’s reasonably clinical and at least seems to hit the target more often than not when he does have a go.

We have to give credit to our recruitment team.

Burrell was a hidden gem and he seems to run on Duracell. Never loses energy. The bloke had two games in the caribbean earlier this week.

Think i need to start consuming whatever this man is digesting.

There were ZERO offsides in today's game.

Is that a record of some sort? I can't ever remember a game with no offsides given.

It's always noisiest at the shallow end

The funny part was I think he thought he was offsides. He stopped and looked right at the sideline almost expecting to see the flag up.

Burrell has a real knack for being in the right place at the right time. You could call it luck or a striker's instinct but it's what we've needed for years.

Agree. Mackie will always be a legend for me but Burrell's a powered up version. All the work rate combined with some tremendous finishing. He scores all sorts of goals too. A massive asset for the club. He's averaging a goal every other game overall, scoring in 80% of home games.

Makes a HUGE difference.

I hope you are proved right but Jamie played and scored for us in a team that won the Championship and in the the top division. RB doing great but still a way to go imho to match JM.
