I ducked. Thought it was heading for the Upper Loft. Not seen the highlights yet. Was it a mis-hit or did he mean it?

I had to duck for one shot in the 1st half that would’ve taken my head off if I hadn’t.I had my hands in my pockets or I might’ve saved it.Do we still have St John’s ambulance volunteers in the ground these days?

Sounds like your hands might’ve been in an unnatural position there, stowmarket!

Pocket billiards - best left for the Crucible.

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

An absolute peach, inch perfect. Rounds off a great week or so for him.

Having seen the highlights it looks as if he meant to hit the ball as he did.

At the time, every one of us at the back of MU thought he had skyed it & were amazed that it was a goal! Our celebrations were a little muted as we had to wait for the Ellerslie & SA Road fans to let us know we'd scored!

Mind you, some had also thought the first Hull goal hit the side netting.

Using a golfing analogy (not that I know anything about golf) it looked to me like he’d asked the caddie for a wood and been handed a sand-wedge instead.

Definitely looked deliberate to me. Very clever goal imo.

He didn't snatch at it. He just used the pace of the pass from Illy to cleverly sweep/place it out of the keepers reach. really good finish.

Did he mean it?

I swear there must have been people asking if Tricky Trev meant it. 'Nah, it was a mishit, he was trying to square it.'

One of the joys of loft standing. You’re just metres away from the net bulging.
The Birmingham winner will never be topped though .

He has a fantastic and deft left foot on him for a right footed player.

Never knowingly right.

Hell of a technique to chip a defender who's standing on the line.

Technology advances, unfortunately humans do not.
