Since the 23/24 season we have the lowest outlay on players (€23.63m) of any team currently in the Championship. We’re 11th out of 24 when it comes to a balance sheet ( €9.33m loss)
Caveat - These figures comes from Transfer market so are not entirely reliable as so many transfer fees are withheld but it gives a rough idea of where we are in relation to other teams. [Post edited 1 Sep 10:17]

Actually there’s a second page that I didn’t look at! Yes there are a host of clubs like Rotherham, Plymouth and Lincoln most of whom have spend a season or two outside the Championship who have spent less than us over a three year period. Lincoln have spent £8m in this window. | |

AFAIK, the only transfer fee we've paid out was for Ward. Charles probably attracted a lian fee, but Kemper, Lamptey, Cirkin and Kamara were all free. On the other side we would have re eived fees for Field and Cooper, so the transfer Balance Sheet should be in our favour.

figures quoted for field was i think 1.5million , cooper £150k which i think is low for a keeper who seemingly did well on loan anf has actual first teamexperience
so we should be on the plus side for transfer allowing for wages | |

I just went on the BBC website and some of the 'fans' comments are great. Preston fans resigned to relegation, Derby and Sheff Utd convincing themselves they're doomed etc etc. And apparently they all need 3 or more players.

Liam Millar signing on loan from Hull to Birmingham is truly weird. He's been excellent for Hull and scored their winner 3 days ago in the Prem. Just a really odd move. A player I'd have loved to see here. Very much rate him. | |
