I’m sure he’s on a hefty wage there with Burnley not starting well and having just sold Flemming. Enough to tempt him turning 40 to sign for Burnley rather than closer to home or have a season with Sheffield Wednesday for a pittance and call it a day. Fans are more than restless there already.
Scored seven in 24 starts and 5 sub appearances albeit at a higher level last season and for a team unlikely to be creating loads of chances. Makes sense for them. Certainly wouldn’t have done for us IMO. | | | |

he would and he would also not fit the plan but say he got us ten goals , and won us 10 addtional points would he be worth it then ? would he have scored the chance burrell had sat that was blocked ? prob yes , id have like to seen us add a slightly more experience head up fron in the transfer window esp as it looks like kone is injured/ off his game lays a lot of pressure on burrell once again this season. he does his hamstring again leaves us with lloyd and obikwu up front . | |

This is the same line of reasoning that lumbered us with Charlie Austin five years ago.
And Charlie's still only 37, two years younger than JV.
Bring back Charlie :-)
I can't be bothered to crunch the numbers but I wouldn't be surprised if Rayan Kolli has a better goals per minute ratio than JV over the last two seasons. If we could only sort out the politics we might already have a solution to the 'needing a late goal' problem in-house. | | | |

i belive rayan kolli can also cure world hunger , bring peace to the world , and turn water into wine ,I heard he also beat the crap out of chuck norris after a game of drafts once . Main issue is he cant stay fit and cant last much longer than 45 mins before hes cramping up , cant have a run in the team as hes usually injured after 3 games , apart from thats he the perfect off the bench option id say.
