I’m not sure the club have presented any of them in a “haven’t we done well” light. The Bennie and Walsh loans are good for all and we could see benefits after this season. The others weren’t up to the standard, apart from Field who wanted to move on as not in managers plans. | | | |

Bit harsh.
Even Brentford and Brighton sign duds. These two were punts who, in the grand scheme of things weren’t expensive. Not really comparable to the dross we’ve had before and the huge money wasted on the likes of Bonne and the like.
There’s plenty to criticise the club for, seems an odd thing to have a dig at. | |

Literally 100's & 100's of boys go into the Academy to get their chance, some go into the Development squad if they are older but nearly 100% of them will never play for the first team. The odd one that does may get a few games to give them their opportunity but, once again, very few who actually play for the first team are up to the standard required. It is 'hit & miss' and to get an Eze you have got to be very lucky indeed...these kids MUST continue to develop and improve week on week, month on month, season to season.....most do not. This game of football that we all love is far from easy to make a decent 'living' because everything must be right with the indidual and that is not just being a skillfull footballer, there is a lot more involved.
Yea, you can 'knock' the Club for not bringing through or signing enough talented players but just look at big Clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool, etc, etc.......how many come through their ranks??

I think thats a tad harsh Clive. Yes, there have been a few duds like Santos / Richards,
But I would say in recent times, there have been many more successful purchases such as Burrell, Madsen, Kone, Poku, Edwards, Vale to name a few.
And these players are all relatively young also.
No one is ever going to get 100% of signings spot on, but for me, we are definitely improving in our transfer policies.
And to move players on quickly so they dont become a troubling presence on the training ground is sensible and drain the banks, feel its been sensible to cut your losses quickly, so that others also such as Celar have been moved on quickly and without fuss.
Personally the general transfer policies of the last two seasons overall has been a big positive for me. |  |

Not looking for negativity.
I said that moving Santos and Celar on was a good thing. Probably for them as well as us.
And Nourry has made some good signings.
But when his clear failures are being talked up as success then something looks off.
