13 in 119 across 4 seasons for Watford. I'm.....alright ta
Bloke is entirely constructed of red flags, and I doubt it'd be a cheap loan either. But if there's anything in it then Warbs does know him at his best.

Wow. That reminds of when we signed Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora. Their recent season records were abysmal and surprise surprise they continued on the same trend, oh Bobby Zamora goal notwithstanding.
Just no. He has been shocking at Watford and has/is costing them a fortune (this from a Watford fan). As I understand it, it would be a complete result for Watford to get him out on loan and save a bit of money. Less of a result for the club taking him.
I suspect any bridge between Troy and our fanbase has long since been turned to ashes. We do enjoy getting the odd result against Watford in our "Cup Finals".
You could probably tank this move in about 10 minutes if you dig up his old Twitter posts and kick up enough fuss.
Just read a bit about him, wow, he's said some horrible and hurtful stuff in the past, for sure.
To be fair to him, he hasn't hid from it and has said he's grown up and was wrong.
Grace of god twitter didn't exist when I was young, I'm sure most of us have ranted horrible shit at times, I don't know where we go with this as a society.
Waiting for Ollie Robinson to play for England and then bringing up his misdemeanours didn't sit well, I suppose the hall monitors have interns digging through the social media accounts of anyone who 'makes it' in the hope of being able to throw some shit at them. Nice. Take a look at yourselves, gentlemen.
But, as a club, I don't see how we can not give Kane a shirt number if we sign Gray.
Hugill would be a better one on loan. Can play striker or hold up man and plays well for us.
I would imagine the primary idea is to add more of what we don't have - pace in particular - than to cover/reiterate what we've got.
It does raise an interesting question though thinking about to what extent Hugill would also add something we don't have - or to put it another way, has it been a misconception all along to have expected of Dykes what we got from Hugill? Have a funny feeling Dykes would do quite well freed from typecasting as the not-big man in a two...
I believe that we are short of forwards......Dykes is limited, CA could be a little frail and we have no other front runner experience. I thought we would sign a forward in pre-season but I understand why we didn't.
MW will not sign him if there is any doubt whether or not he will 'fit in' to & with the group. I am unsure of his abilities......I would suggest that 99% of us don't know to both points either.
