Phew, exhausted.

We made heavy weather of it and Reading's route one from Lumley kept us on our toes and they pressed our full backs well.

So pleased for Dykes - was hiding behind an imaginary sofa when he took his penalty. Never stopped working.

Amos and Dozzell subs brought total control to the game, it was a masterstroke by Beale.

Oh gosh, this is fun.

I think the Dickie sub was more telling than the other two. Salter, Dunne and Dickie ♥️

*Edit - Dickie not Dykes

Did we make heavy weather of it? Thought it was a great game between two decent teams and pretty much down to every man, we played very well. Second half, the tactics and substitutions pushed it over the line for us

Was there also. The home end was loud, and of course went nuts on Dykes penalty. Deserved the victory, completely outplayed Reading. We are absolutely better than them. Oh, and the ref sucked.

On the train back home and thought we were superb again tonight
3 wins in 7 days, 2 away from home and against 3 decent teams is quite a feat
I think I have been quite vocal about Dykes, and so it is nice to finally say that he took his goals well tonight and pleased for him
Great atmosphere tonight, nothing like a game under the lights at HQ
Reading are a big team physically and we dealt with them I thought pretty well
MOTM for me was Chair not so much for what he done with the ball but much more for his leadership and willingness to run himself into the ground for the team
Thought Tim had his best match for us and Seny was superb again
I'm dont normally buy into the ref is rubbish camp, as I think the modern game must be a nightmare to officiate, but how he missed that penalty was criminal. Luckily it didn't really matter but what a terrible decision
So 3rd tonight.... a great night out..... a team that is playing for each other, what more could you ask for

I couldn’t work Reading out at all, they were invisible in the first half but suffocated us for most of the second until the goal. Laird going off maybe affected the mentality of both sides. I credit Tim with suddenly giving them something to worry about with his running late up the middle, after he looked the favourite to hobble off instead of Johansen.

Roberts and Dykes in the same side looked like two guys hoping the rest would create something rather than one.

I wouldn't like to play us at the moment.

Not getting that blatent penalty In the first half and then those bastards getting one and scoring from It was a hard pill to swallow.

But there's something about this team? maybe It's a belief In our own ability to win games and tonight we deservedly turned around a 0-1 deficit to go on and win a game that we thoroughly deserved to win.

On top of that we've beaten the most shit faced bastard of a club, a bunch of squealing fck pigs who were fined 12 points last season and should have been relegated and would have been If some stupid minge faced gonk hadn't decided to suspend six points.

Anyway enough already, got a bit angry there.

Great win, great---great win.

Good post but Chair wasn’t in my top 5 for MOTM: Dykes wins for his goals but Kakay did brilliantly when he came on early, Tim was immense, Seny’s performance was up there with his best for us. Field quality as usual, both centre backs dealt with the Reading forwards so well.

Only Roberts a bit off the pace tonight IMO: it was a top notch team performance.

I can’t imagine getting so irate at Reading. I’ve always thought of them as like Diet Coke, nothing like the thing they’ve supposed to be and a bit of a peculiar artificial taste, but not going to kill you.

Mick's got them so well organised. They know their jobs. And they're flexible. Changing shape to 3 at the back changed the game and brought us back control of the ball.

Delighted Ozzy got the assist. That'll be a boost to his confidence.

I have a lot of reasons Mr Sheen, the Company I worked for spent a lot of time at the madstad doing two major construction projects, It was always the same throughout the construction phases during site meetings they were bastards to deal with, their pox ridden quantity surveyors were c unts to deal with, any minuscule reason and they would demand the withholding of Monthly payments blah bloody blah, constant whinging they were purely the client from hell and totally unreasonable and what I would call financial bully's.
Both of the contracts we completed for them were both handed over on time, they had f uck all to complain about.
I defy anyone to sit In with them at site meetings.

Ref missed the handball, but could have been unsightly and there is no VAR, so him and his officials get one look.

Otherwise, I thought he was good. Yellow cards correct, although Carroll's tackle was bordering on red.

Authoritative, unfussy, firm.

Kakay played well after coming on. Second half he was involved in loads of moves going forward. It's the other way of looking at the loan signings too, players can learn off them.

A fair opinion of the refs performance, agree with what you say but for me he let too much go and played advantages that became lost possession almost instantly, without ever calling one back.

To be honest it was pissing down outside at 6.30 and I'd had a knackering week so was slightly tempted to just watch it on the box.

So glad I didn't because it turned out to be one of those nights that has you buzzing for a long time afterwards - fantastic, jubilant collective atmosphere.

We've got quite a lot of talent out on the pitch these days and they all seem to know what they're supposed to be doing.

Sorry, mate, had to down vote you there. OK being authoritative when you're right, but he was nowhere near right on those big decisions.

So many poor decisions not all of them against us, although most were. Chair's run through the middle of their half where his shirt was constantly being pulled resulting in him not having control, many of Carroll's "clever" / cynical little pushes in the air, a couple of Stef J's subtle little pull backs if I remember correctly. Yet another unfit ref.

I'll say this again - these are NOT PARK referees, they are Professionals of which they should be the top 200 in the country. The creme De la creme, full time, their job is literally to ru.n round watching football and interpreting the laws of the game.

I'll hear all the shite about how difficult this is, but these people should be dedicating their life to this. They HAVE to be better...

Can we go out yet?

Don't have an issue with the vote.
