As sweetcorn and Moony have said, Rovers fans aren’t happy on Twitter and they seem to think he could do a job in their squad. Very pleasing if he does arrive. We’ve seen with Stanton in the past how a player who doesn't have naturally brilliant defensive skills can still make an excellent defender because of pace. |  | | |

Did you mean Steve Taylor ?
Steve Taylor was lightening over a short burst, and his reactions were brilliant. Thompson was quick over a longer sprint as was Milner. Difficult to know who was our fastest, on the wing, but no one has ever been quicker as the fox in the box than Taylor, and brilliant finisher too. |  |

The option to play with a back five or back four with either Ryan or EOC or MJW in front gives us so many options. Ultimately, if we can be more solid defensively the attacking capabilities will flow naturally. A pacy young goalscorer on loan would be the icing on the cake
