Game if the season Could have sunk with out trrace but the fightback and the style of play gave me plenty of optimism for the future Great commitment from the players Outstanding performances from Faurlin and Hall

QPR so much improved under JFH. The effort and running was great to watch. Brighton are a dirty side who were lucky to escape with a point.

cracking game so heartening to see whole team putting a shift in...special mention junior ale and Charlie...JFH has got them organised and chasing down for whole 90 mins..plus 7 et...bit unlucky to concede both goals..foul on sandro for first and deflection for second....Great to see Ale back and MOM for me what a player and servant to the club...long may he continuing playing injury free....A fantastic atmosphere at LR...reminded me of Liverpool game when we won after being 2 down..bit unlucky not to repeat by hitting the post at end

I am getting lost for words, were do you start, as usual start out well then costly mistakes again its getting to be the only consistent thing we have going for us right now. I really thought we were going to sort things out for this game but I am now worried that we have a real lack of confidence running throughout the players.
I just hope we dont get the same excuses from RK again something is not working to state the obvious.
What has happened to Saints these last few games is mind blowing nothing seems to work, I am getting a little worried now, we have to beat the Gunners or we could be in big trouble COYR.

Looked poor today after a good 20 minutes at the start. We are going to be in a relegation dog-fight if this carries on, and, apart from VD and VW we don't have any dogs! Lightweight in the midfield with Clasie not ready, Davis out of position on the wing, and JWP unable to stamp his authority. Dembele, today, was head and shoulders above anyone on the pitch, If VW is going to Spurs, get Dembele in exchange! As I've said before, we have not replaced NC, MS, and AL - indeed even SRL might be able to do a job for us; Pelle flogs his guts out, but he does not always make the right decisions when in possession. Still, keep going is the only option, and those without the stomach to fight, such as Tadic, should step up to the mark!

There doesn't seem to be a team pattern. Quite often today we were all on the left or all on the right. Spurs players had acres of space. The two goals were what you might see in a park game. Can't blame Gazzaniga. Clasie took most of the stick from the blockheads behind me and some of their criticism was, unfortunately, justified. Anybody who doesn't see that we simply can't put it together at the moment is deluded. Koeman is paid to produce results and his latest words - preparing us for defeat in this game - and then openly criticising the players - suggests he doesn't know what to do to get us out of this slump. If not, the board needs to put money up for some strong, proven defenders and a goalscorer, either in midfield or up front. We surely need one and soon! A word for Cedric. Worked tirelessly and was our main source of danger to Spurs with his crosses.

Poor first half, with very little about us. Second half was an improvement and looked comfortable after we scored. Then they did and we looked a shambles again. I don't recall us having an attempt on goal after they equalised.

Standard R's away performance.

STANDING BACK for a moment from our natural disappointment at this match I think we should get some perspective. This wasn't actually a terrible performance from the team. For the first 40 minutes we were actually doing OK and came pretty close to scoring a couple of times. But then came our statutory five minutes of madness and that was all Spurs needed. Two breakaway goals from strikers who are not afraid to have a go at goal and its game over! The second half was more of the same really - Saints doing pretty well for most of the period and Spurs frankly not looking like scoring again (save for an entertaining piece of stir-crazy goalkeeper antics from young Gazza in the last minute) but apart from the JWP effort, neither did we. The problem (and I'm sorry to bang on about this once again) is that we spend too much time running around in circles in midfield rather than head quickly up the other end and shoot on target. It feels like taking a load of puppies for a walk along the beach - any direction apart from the one you want to go in. No-one wants to see the ball being hoiked up to Pele every time as that method means that it only comes back to us too soon, but we do want to see players running to the byline and putting in decent crosses, or driving down the middle with purpose. In a tight league we really are in danger of being sucked in to a relegation battle as others on this site have rightly said. The omens for Boxing Day aren't good. Come on Ron, surprise me!

Halftime orange - good points except one - did you see Cedric stand still so that Alli could control the ball and score? Watch MOTD! Otherwise he looked good going forward, but he is no NC!

Agree with Codge. Confidence is rock bottom at the moment. We started really well and had a right go. But again, we just fell right off. Spurs were just better than us from 20 mins on. Some horrendous defending and again conceding 2 quick goals just really killed us.

What disappoints me most is that when we go behind, we create nothing in attic to get back in the game really. Why can't we fight back like Leicester and Bournemouth did (ok, b'mouth didn't score but they bullied us 2nd half). we just seem to pass the ball and get nowhere fast.

Had Mane scored in our good spell who knows what might have happened but it's hard to see where a win is coming from. sat season whilst we struggled for a period to score, at least we were tight defensively. Now, we are struggling to score but are leaking goals, stupid goals.

C'mon Saints, 3 points for Xmas please!!
