He or his agent asked for a £5m release clause upon relegation by the sounds of it. If true it suggests he'll want to be off asap. I'm losing patience with him. 2 1/2 years he's been here - how dumb do you have to be to not learn by now? There's only so long his performances can be put down to an adjustment period. |  | | |

Yes but last year Ayew was actually integral to us staying up. This year, Barrow is arguably one of the reasons we've been as poor as we have. There's only so far raw speed will get you when you totally fail to do anything useful with it. |  | | |
