Maybe I am wrong but I don't get upset by that chant & I'd imagine 'the we can see you holding hands' song wouldn't bother me if I was (God forbid) a Brighton fan.
If the abuse was directed at 1 player (like described in this thread towards Fashanu) that is totally unacceptable, but the day banter is lost between football fans its time to give up.
