Like a select couple of thousand I have supported the club through the real dark times
The past 10 years or so and especially the PL years are comparative luxury
If we fall out of this division (be that in a year, ten years, whatever) we may never see it's like again.
Just enjoy the ride guys.
Truth is there is nothing we can do about the running of the club.
This isn't one puny Australian guy.
These are people who like them or not have our club in their hands and we can only hope and trust they treat it as we would.
For all the little ditties that can be sung and protests you imagine we can mount, there is nothing we can do to wrestle control from them.

It's not just the team that makes up a football club, there's politics too. You can't go shooting people down if you choose to ignore that aspect of the football club.
Granted, things on the pitch are peachy in comparison to the 1992 side I first saw but it doesn't take much to jeopardise that, some people think is happening right now. | |

Not a passive objector - just a realist from the "Change the things you can change, accept the things you cannot change" school of thought.
I have no argument with you and certainly would like to see the club grow on and more importantly (for the long term future) off the field.
However, I don't see the current board and administration responding to pitchforks at dawn protests in the way that piece of scum Petty did.
Even when PL football seemed to be slipping away from us last season, no one seemed to have the heart for a fight with the board.
I don't see that happening now either.

But how long did that side remain in the top flight ? Two seasons.
This is without doubt the most successful period in the club's history, now I understand some people, don't want to hear that, but it's the truth, and people such as Jenkins, Morgan have played their part in that success.

Acknowledge your comments mate but surely if we, the fans, are not happy with the manner in which OUR Club is being run behind the scenes then at the very least they (the Board) have to acknowledge and address our concerns going forward ?
Regrettably, the historical issues regarding Huw Cooze, the Trust and the Board's 'unhealthy relationship' with them still remains prevalent and this most certainly clouds any possible transparency and honesty in the Club's actions going forward .....

Come off it if there's someone at fault or to blame for poor showings football fans are always going to let them know.
