Relegation watch 14:48 - Oct 1 with 6122 views | Private_Partz | Burnley doing us a favour at the mo. One up at Everton. Corky making a last ditch tackle before their goal. Ash terrible and Siggy anonymous. Probably put the mockers on this now by mentioning it....

Relegation watch on 14:50 - Oct 1 with 2938 views | GTCJack | Relegation watch doesn't happen 1st Oct. Nor will it be involving Everton. In fact, better result would be an Everton win as we actually have a better squad than Burnley. They have a great manager and strong team core however. We do not

Burnley are relatively out of sight at the mo. Relegation watch is VERY relevant the way we are playing, even at this early stage. We need as many teams as possible within one win of us. Once we are cut adrift it becomes that much more difficult to get out of the mire as confidence will drop further. If we get out of this mess it becomes irrelevant but sure as Hell it ain't the case at the moment. [Post edited 1 Oct 2017 15:02]

"out of sight"?? Have you gone mad PP? If not lay off the crack :) If we don't get our shit together, everyone except Palace will be out ofsight soon mind. 1st October is no time to worry about anyone but ourselves. Got to say, Burnley beating 'Top 4' Evostick is facking funny, with their Champions League midfield and all.

Point taken. I had amended to 'relatively'. I am looking at the live tables which will put them on 12 points if they win I believe. My point stands about keeping an eye on others though. If the season pans out the way it is looking we will be doing a lot more of this.

Good point. His stock would have fallen and he has expressed an interest before. He would certainly tell Jenkins where to get off. It is very worrying how badly Everton have collapsed from last season though.....

Their problems are evident though and it wasn't entirely Keoman's fault. Gylfi, Klassen and Rooney all play the same role behind a striker. On top of that they have no pacey players with experience. Coupled with the fact Williams is having a nightmare season and Pickford hasn't carried over his superman form from Sunderland and you've got a team that is demotivated and unable to attack let alone defend. People on here can complain about Clucas all they want - Everton threw money away this season rather than investing big bucks to replace Lukaku. Lukaku carried them last year much as Llorente/Gylfi did for us. Koeman's now improved everything behind the frontline but without an outlet.
Relegation watch on 16:06 - Oct 1 with 2601 views | Joe_bradshaw | Burnley's first four away games have been Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool and Everton. 2 wins and 2 draws. That's outstanding.

Have they got an egocentric maniac in charge of their recruitment as well? I would have thought Koeman would demand, and have , more input than Clem. Anyways Burnley have beaten them . Their nightmare continues..... Liverpool will hopefully do the barcodes next..... [Post edited 1 Oct 2017 16:11]

Agree with this, would have been much better had Everton won. Whilst Everton have been struggling, they are a much bigger club than Burnley and have resources to get themselves out of their current position. I would have put Burnley on a par with Swansea, but as it is now they have 7 more points than Swansea. It's early days, but we need to see the clubs who we would expect to be in our mini league dropping points because the Everton's of the world can easily pull away from the drop zone.

No they recruited Walsh from Leicester on the back of a couple of lucky punts on Mahrez and Kante. He has most of the transfer power there. The Dutch Fathead just insisted on The Codpiece for £45m, who will apparently take them from Europa League to Champions League.

Is dragging the shirt off the opponents back in the penalty area allowed in Newcastle then? Pool could have had 2 pens there.
