OUT WITH A DEAL EATING OUR CAKE AND LOVING IT suck it up remoaners
And like a typical anti democracy remoaner he decided the will of the people should be ignored the minute the democratic result was in total fecking hypocrite 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Despite it being voted in to law by the commons the spineless two faced remoaner MPs have totally abandoned any morals and decided to ignore the will of the British people.
It will be remembered and no election or referendum will ever be the same again in this country.
The one thing that will come is a massive surge in the popularity of UKIP or a similar party in the future who stand for the 52%.
Happy Days.

In a moment of complete clarity and unity labour have today announced they may perhaps support another referendum eventually if certain other events don’t happen maybe.

David Lammy? I suppose if Labour are thinking where next after Corbyn plumping for the tanned Timmy Mallett has something of the logic of slapstick continuity about it.
Well unless Timmy Mallett is also a barrister, then i think Dai Lammy edges him.
Yvette Cooper as deputy. Obviously.
And please can we replace Mark Drakeford with anybody with a pulse whilst we are at it.

The Spanish General Election took place on sunday. The result was that the PSOE (their version of Labour) got the biggest number of seats, 123, and substantially increased their vote, but fell short of an overall majority of 176, so will need to work out a deal with minority left leaning parties in order to govern successfully. People like the Basques and the Catalans (Plaid and Scot Nats!). Not a problem.
Their version of the Tories (the PP) was wiped out, losing half their seats. Their moderate supporters defected to the Spanish version of the Lib Dems, while their extremists defected to a rabid right wing anti immigrant party called Vox - think of the Brexit Party and UKIP rolled into one. Are you watching, Maybot? This is what's going to happen to you.
Vox got 10% of the vote and 24 seats in the 350 seat parliament. Its the first time in 30 years that the extreme right have won seats in parliament.
All very interesting to me, with lots of parallels with the UK scene.

With any luck Pego! What are the differences between the policies of the Socialists and Podemos ? The latter didn't seem to do so well.

Interesting that. We only get the impression from the media that the far right are on some sort of unstoppable march. Quite a different picture appears when you see the broader context.

I meant more that it was going to be the case the rights would be transferred into British law?
After all if you look at something like maternity rights, UK goes above and beyond EU minimum at the moment.
The rights have already been transferred into UK law. That’s what the HRA is.
No idea what maternity rights have to do with anything. You seem to be getting workers’ rights confused with the HRA and the EU confused with the ECHR.

Podemos, the leftist anti austerity party, did almost as badly as the tories, losing about 40% of their seats. I think disenchantment with the leader was the main driver (lesson for Jezza?). I'm not well up enough to say how they differ from the socialists other than they are supposedly further left. They still have 40 seats though, so Sanchez will have to get in bed with them to form a government.

Aye, the forces of the right had their arses handed to them on a plate, but the media are highlighting the Vox party as if they're on a march. They're not, this is their high watermark. I can see something similar about to happen in Britain. In fact, the people of Spain turned out in force and mainly supported the left precisely because they DIDN'T want Vox sneaking into government in a right wing parties coalition.

May is going to get rid of human rights act, eh?
Apparently so ....
A minister has revealed that Theresa May will consider axeing the Human Rights Act after Brexit, despite promising she is “committed” to its protections.

In Germany too, the AfD the populist right wing party is polling only 10%. To put that into context they got 12.5% at the last election. The Greens are on 19%.

The chances of May being anywhere near the position to abolish this is slim. As soon as she stops brexit it’s mission accomplished and we won’t see her for dust.

You’re looking in the wrong place to gauge where and to what extent influence is being exerted.
An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.
