The gaffer is good for laughter 18:29 - Jan 23 with 2199 viewsdickythorpe

Just saw him on ITV sport news, "We are in hospital, we are breathing, not out of the woods, but we can accept visitors now".....I think he's a breath of fresh air.

He out thought Klopp last night, and in a way I think he maybe taking the piss out of him. Love the guy.... just what we needed.

“After the Watford game, two people out of every 100 said we had a chance to stay up. Now maybe 20 out of 100 are looking in a different way.

We are breathing, we are not in the emergency ward. We are in hospital but we are not in emergency, we can accept visits now. We are still not in a good position though. We have a lot of work to do but the players’ confidence is more high.”

About Fernandez’s stitches: “He’s OK. I have brave boys.”

Poll: Who should be our next manager? Please name them.

The more I see & hear of Carlos the more I’m liking him.

Comes across as a top bloke.

Agree mate...I think maybe his more relaxed and positive character has rubbed off on the players and gone some way to taking away the ‘fear factor’ which was so apparent under Clement whose negativity and stereotypical ‘school teacher’ background stifled their ability to express themselves.

Poll: Why is this site so quiet these days ?

Although to be fair to the lads, they played the role of stiffs to Clement's undertaker really convincingly.

It's strange with Clement though.
Did so well keeping us up.
Then it all went so spectacularly wrong.
Not sure I can ever remember such a quick transformation with a Swans manager before.

Poll: Would you like Cooper to stay or go (regardless of compensation situation)

Would he have done so well last year without Siggy and Llorente though, I highly doubt it.

Yes and the January window gave everyone a big lift.
In hindsight we should have kept Llorente and Cork.
Sigurdsson should have gone earlier in the window.
Easy to say now.

Also he did not feel the need to argue with fans behind the dugout!
Stay classy Carlos.
