What’s wrong with this record?? Are there no decent managers available? 19:34 - May 21 with 2696 viewscastlejack

Why do we continuously approach such ridiculous candidates as a prospective manager of our club.

It took Roy Hodgson all season to catch up after zero points from the first seven games, with no goals scored ... why on earth do we want Frank De Bore?

Our back up plan.....Stam.
Another peach of a candidate.

Next we’ll be begging Bad Bradley back (although he did have a better record over Carvahals pitiful last month or so, so anything’s possible)

If we appoint any of these clowns we’ll have a worse season than last with the same fate as Sunderland

I’m not sure who we should appoint, but I also know it shouldn’t be Chris Coleman.

Any decent suggestions?

Nathan Jones

That’s just a couple of up and coming British managers with a reputation for entertaining, attacking football that gets results. There’s bound to be more. If only we paid someone £500k a year to come up with ideas beyond the bleeding obvious....oh.

I can see why we’d speak to DeBoer to be fair.

Stam doesn’t sound like the best of candidates

Unfortunately though we struggled to attract top managers and players when we were in the Prem. we’ll struggle even more now that we are in the division below and still one of the smaller clubs

FDB and Stam don't exactly inspire perhaps CC would have been a safer option he knows the squad and where it needs strengthening he knows the division and we can't just keep sacking managers. Is Potter actually in the running and have we even bothered to give Lampard an interview. Ipswich say they have plenty of applicants I should imagine so have we.

Unless fundamental changes are made to the structure of the club, how many people will want to apply for a job with a very good chance they'll be looking for another come December?

We say we're looking to learn from previous mistakes, but are we really?

Nathan Jones?

He's been gone too long.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

Lets be fair.

Roberto was with Chester as a player.
Rodgers failed at Reading and done ok at Watford.

Firstly we want someone who wants his team to play football, secondly we want someone like Roberto and Rodgers who wanted to make strides in the game, neither were living off past playing success. Thirdly we want someone younger than previous managers.

Only one who ticks those boxes....Graham Potter.

De Boer was sacked after 4 of those 7 games.

Roy must have been on the verge of the sack after his 3.

There are a few others who meet your requirements. Dean Smith of Brentford for one.

Click on the poll at the bottom of this message and then on the BBC link which will bring up some names.

As much as I'd love Dean Smith, I can't see him coming here. He's at a club which has a clear and coherent plan, they're moving to a new stadium too.

Knowing that fûcking lemon Jenkins, we'd be more likely to get DJ Campbell, as he always gave us a tough time when we played Brentford
