Not a fan but his arrest yesterday challenges freedom of speech.

One of the legal bods on here will correct me if i'm wrong, but you don't actually have to commit a breach of the peace to be arrested under it. If they think there is going to be a breach, then they can arrest you prior to you actually carrying it out.

Otherwise I've been wrongly arrested under that law, several times

It's basically a generic law to get you the f*ck away from somewhere they don't want you to be.

You need to find a new angle mate. He breached his suspender, end of story.

You are correct in a way, but there has to be sufficient grounds to believe there is a threat of actual violence or intimidation. If an incident has occurred then it no longer applies and another charge could be made.

It's actually a preventative measure and not a criminal offence, you can be arrested but not charged with any offence. It's a common law principle and not a statute

Neither of these incidents happened with the TR incident yesterday

The very definition of a 'gammon' if ever I saw one.

Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon has a long list of offences and has previously served time in prison. He clearly has not learned from his time inside, I really hope they throw the book at him this time. He has done more to poison the tiny minds of the hard of thinking than any political figure in recent history.

He thinks fighting hate with more hate is the answer. it's not and never will be.

With a bit of luck we will have seen the end of Goulding and Fransen as well.

Thank you, goodnight and bollocks

"Gammon - a victory in backgammon (carrying a double score) in which the winner removes all their pieces before the loser has removed any."

Strange way to describe him

Yeah but apart from all that, its a miscarriage, a travesty and the end of free speech. I know this because of all the memes that keep getting posted

Free Tommy, No Surrenda etc etc

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

Yeah that's all very well.

But what about Stephen Lawrence! And Diane Abbott!

It's an outrage!

The guy isn't thick, so what the hell he thought he was doing is beyond me. Or maybe his desire for publicity has backfired ?
Either way if he is a so say journalist the way he goes about his business when reporting is unprofessional to say the least.

He should have been arrested for contempt of court then. Then this circus wouldn’t have started. My concern isn’t who it happened to unlike most on here but the way it happened.

Thank you.

Well being serious I’d only seen the video and not much else. Anyone still keeping on that it’s wrong after all the evidence that’s come to light really is a bit dim.

I fully agree.

On that link you posted, now that it's all been explained to them, one of Tommy's supporters responded with "never mind the technicalities".

Lol. Never mind the law, Tommy is innocent anyway.

A bit dim is being rather kind IMO.
