…….and there was a 2nd Referendum, as the "Peoples Vote" brigade (oh the irony) want to have, how would you vote?
Hypothetically if the question was:
a) Accept the Current Deal (assuming it doesn't get watered down further) or b) Leave the EU with No Deal in place.
I'm appealing to people here, don't let this be hijacked, no insults and petty points. Just a statement of how you voted originally would vote now, and why?
So to kick off:
I voted Leave. I would vote to leave without a deal. I would do so because I believe that the only way of the UK getting the deal it wants is to negotiate from a position of full Sovereign Independence.

I do actually know a little bit about this, I take a genuine interest in rural affairs and the truth is Welsh lamb exports are doing very well, remarkably so in fact.

Why would you? The trade figures couldn’t be any more encouraging as far as Welsh lamb exports go. 2017 figures up around the £180m mark. It’s a success to be celebrated and built on.

Again I agree. But our largest export market is to the EU and the EU has a limit on the amount of NZ lamb it imports. I just fail to see how Increasing the amount NZ lamb we or the EU imports will uild onthe current success of Welsh lamb.

The consumption of lamb is on the increase, production in 2017 was struggling to keep pace with demand. On the face of it this looks to be one of those rare instances where nobody loses.

I’m meeting up tomorrow night with one of HM’s Agricultural Inspectors and a correspondent for Farmers’ Weekly. I’ll mention that Planetswans is collectively pondering lamb exports; I’ll have to show them because they won’t believe it!

They want it when it comes to buying cheap TVs, clothes, trainers, food, washing machines, fridges, cars, bikes, phones, iPads, computers etc etc etc.
People in general have more stuff than you can shake a stick at. Things break down, chuck it away and buy new. Get bored of a pair of shoes? Buy new. Have a phone that’s fractionally slower or with less space for games or apps? Buy new. Have a tv that’s ‘only’ has a 40 inch screen and want something bigger for the footie? Buy new. Want to eat tomatoes in December? Asparagus in April? Strawberries all year round? Fancy a mango? Coconut water?
The hypocrisy is breathtaking.
