There seem to be two markets - the bottom values we sell players for and the rest of the highly inflated market. For any player desperate to leave it’s about what wages they are on. If paying their wages fecks up the financial side and their agents know that, the closer it gets to the end of the window the bigger the problem for the club.
If their agents know or suspect this is the case, any interested clubs will know as well and they will play hardball to get either a fire sale transfer fee or a loan just so that we get the wages off the books.
Again it’s down to whoever agreed the contracts if the club has this problem. | | | |
