There's a new one opened down on the pier called the "Copperfish". It's where the old Toby Bar used to be. I haven't been there yet, but people say it's good. |  |

Johnnie's expensive mind. If you do go there and have fish, maybe ask for a separate portion of chips because what you gain on the fish you lose out on with the chips - a carton can only hold so much!
A lot of people rave over (the isle of) Fernando's in Sketty SA2 8JJ - not bad, but for me the best currently is The Range also in Sketty SA2 9DE (huge portions of chips every time I've been there). It's all a personal taste though. |  | | |

Not quite Swansea but Shillingfords in Neath is excellent.
Rossi's has been crap for at least 15-20 years now.
Saying that, I think that any chippie can have its bad days - depends if you get fresh chips etc. Consistency is the key. Even a crap chippie can have a good day. |  |
