My neighbour two doors down has not gone out at all since March 17th. Her husband does the outside stuff, she is terrified, Both are in their 40’s. I think it’s now a mental health thing, her personality has changed completely. Sad.

That last line, you'd like to think so but....oh yes it is!
Staying at least 2 metres away from other people, you'd think it would be easy, specially in a park or on playing fields yet there are always some (and quite often it's joggers and cyclists) who just can't stay away. they keep on going on their route regardless of others. Sometimes it's like a challenge and you have to zigzag around.
I’m not saying it’s not difficult to remain safe when there are idiots around, but it’s not difficult to understand what the advice is.
We’re all having to zigzag, or step into the street, or stop and wait, or whatever.
But some have morphed into the stasi. When they were previously, and rather hilariously, freemen of the land.

Listen quite carefully.
You responded to the wrong person.
I don’t have a daughter with a young baby. I didn’t have her round to my place. I’ve had no one round.
So there is nothing to report me for.
And if, incidentally, you’d report someone who was putting absolutely no one at risk, was in his own garden, and was doing something as a one off because he’s concerned about his daughter, then you, sir, are a complete and utter arsehole. His daughter’s health is as important as your family’s health.
Grow up. And I say that as someone who has followed all the regulations, and actually has done more than that as London was very hard hit so we were very, very careful.
Come on now Lisa, CJ has caught you out fair and square
No wonder London was so bad with you having family parties

I must say that our household have followed the rules, we have been out for walks, taught the kids(god help them) and generally kept as busy by doing things around the house and garden. There are good days and bad days. The amount of people breaking the rules around where I live is phenomenal, the amount of families having their family from other households over is unbelievable.... What worries me is that some of these people are nurses and teachers as well!!!
Regarding breaking the rules, at the start 7 or 8 weeks ago, police were patrolling on foot to check for social gatherings etc. This last 4 or 5 weeks they haven't been seen. Not good.

Innit.
I had a particularly large party for VE Day. And the Queen’s birthday. Bunting everywhere. Vera Lynn singing about bluebirds.
I’d rather stick rusty nails in my eyes.
Don’t take this the wrong way but why you or anyone else reply to the massive cock baffles me. He’s without doubt one of the most awkward twáts I’ve ever seen on here and I’ve seen a few.

No. Still working full time (key worker), and going up the allotment daily as my 'allowed' exercise. And still far, far more concerned about the long term effects on the economy and on our collective loss of rights than I am about the virus itself. Infinitely so.

“ I think the only thing we did that was dodgy was had our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter round for about an hour one early evening 3-4 weeks ago. It was our son-in-law's idea as he's continued to work while our daughter has been stuck at home alone with a very new baby (Boxing Day) and had gradually been getting a bit depressed.”
I don’t think it sounds dodgy, I think it sounds like an assessment of risk that was right in the individual circumstances. Hope your daughter is doing ok now.
Daughter is OK generally thanks but still a bit up and down. She's pretty resilient though. When I said dodgy, it was against the rules at that time unless their journey could have been classed as essential which is debatable. My wife found not being able to give her a hug when she clearly needed one very difficult and they were both a bit tearful.

I'll be honest mate, given the specific circumstances, I would have hugged my daughter and f*ck the risk. To not do so is actually superhuman and shows incredible restraint. Tell your wife she's amazing. I suppose that's why they need to keep people like me away from each other.

I've been to the supermarket, wearing a mask and gloves, the pharmacist, to take and fetch my daughter from maternity at Singleton and I did for for a long walk yesterday.
I was in Boots wearing a mask & gloves a couple of days ago to pick up a prescription. They were very strict on the number of people they allowed in which was only about 8 I think and they had a strict one in one out routine. I was actually escorted to the back of the queue. It moved on so I moved to the next 2m line when some old bloke tapped me on the shoulder, said excuse me, I'm not pushing in, then brushed past me because he wanted to talk the guy in front of me! My brain went WTF!!!!!! but I was too shocked to say anything. All Boots careful organisation undone in a second.

Thanks Mon, I'll tell her she's amazing on Monday, our 29th anniversary!

That's what gets me, it's not all young and stupid, there are quite a few old and stupid around too. Maybe they don't care about the virus because of their age and/or circumstances but to put strangers at risk, well this 'old bloke' deserved a shouting at at the very least

Throughout all of this there’s been that one type of person who has the attitude of “oh it will be alright if I do this” “it won’t do any harm if I just...” and push the rules thinking they aren’t doing any harm. They are the carriers. They are the reason this hasn’t died out yet. They are basically the rats that spread Black Death.
The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

It is mostly the young. They are the ones having house parties and meeting with friends etc.
The young have parties, the elderly meet up to walk their dogs, joggers and cyclists don't stop and wait they just breeze past too close, there's lots of it going on.

Stupid is as stupid does.

If you went for your hours exercise down by Swansea seafront this afternoon I'll guarantee you'll witness a couple of dozen examples of people being asswipes ðŸ‘ðŸ»

I normally go running in the pretty much car free lanes and choose the widest ones I can. There's a few mile stretch that is about 2.5 metres wide. I stay over one side and other runners or walkers go the other with a bit of swapping over as necessary.
I know that not every cyclist is like this, but most just come straight down the middle despite my pointing and shouting 6 feet for f*cks sake. All week they have been in pairs and refuse to not come within a foot or two of me. It does my head in. Are they really that stupid, or do they think they are invulnerable on their stupid bikes?
There have been a lot of packs of 5 or 6 too. Always 'lads'. If they're the same household, I'm a chinaman.

I'm with you on this bro. I counted 10 in one group of lads. They just don't give a fck
