Haven't really listened much since "Swansea Til I Die," the only Swans talk show hour went away, but I used to be a devoted listener (and sometimes caller) to the show every Friday at 6 p.m. GMT.

Good to see my friend Claire will still be employed though at the new station.

Poll: Biggest signing so far in January? (just curious what Planet Swans thinks)

I wish someone would ask him straight ot ‘Exactly which parts of the stories were false?”

Has anyone asked that when he keeps stating it, as did cumpants?

Well except for Mr and Mrs Cumpants own reports of course, which were blatant lies.

Poll: TRUST MEMBERS: What DID you vote in the, um, vote

"Dozens of towns and cities across England and Wales will lose their own distinctive local radio stations later this year, after the commercial group Bauer announced plans to fold almost 50 regional outlets into a national radio network.

Stations such as York’s Minster FM and the West Midlands’ Signal 107 will lose their identities and be rebranded under the Greatest Hits Radio name from September.
Rather than producing their own shows, the stations will largely carry syndicated programmes made in London featuring national presenters playing classic pop music.

the industry news site Radio Today estimated about 160 of the 200 on-air presenters across the stations were facing redundancy, without taking into account off-air support staff and producers...."

Back in the day, I did rely on Swansea Sound to get an away commentary or a score update. Sad to see it go....

At least Kevin John will have his pantomime acting career to fall back on.

Sad news, I've been a listener since it started.

Was there a better programme than Eddie Escort ?

Greatest hits is ok though, Mark Goodier is good with the background behind the songs.
