Manager when we win

And yet plenty of criticism of him when we lose

Weird.

Monk got us an 8th place in the Premier League while destroying the should of the club and ripping the heart out of the team.
Today was a great result which Cooper will accept praise for.
Newport was dreadful for which Cooper blamed all the players for.
For me the worry is we play pretty much the someway all the time, even subs are like for like wether we are winning or losing.
Again today we went 1 up and sat back, PNE had a couple of decent chances to equalise which, as we saw quite regularly last season, many teams would have converted.
It's not about knowing more than managers , it's about opinions and criticism.
If I see a duff film I'm not going to say it is wonderful because the producer din't completely mess up.

This is it. Cooper is very unpleasant - publicly condemning the players after defeat and fist bumping to the east in victory. He clearly struggles to inspire, and as a coach he's turned us in to a horrific side to watch, unable to find room in his side for any player able to display creative industry. But for some reason fans are not allowed to discuss anything these days.

Have a day off mun

Bring some balance to your views and think laterally and outside the box. Repeating the same old crap even when Cooper has turned things around on a shoestring budget doesn’t make you right. I’m expecting a season of struggle but it’s likely that it won’t be down to the failings of the management team if we do.

Actually I'll give you a chance.....

Does Cooper fist pump and soak up praise in victory?

Does Cooper regularly publicly criticise the players after defeat?

Can Cooper find room in his side for the likes of Celina, Byers, Dyer, Dhanda, Peterson, Asoro..........?

Who looked more inspired in our recent game v Newpaaaart County?

Are we good to watch?

Do the survey and then explain which part of my post is complete and utter bollox.

Andre Ayew is one of, if not the most, expensive players outside of the Premier League, a luxury that the maanger before him didn't have. I can see you're a fanboi, so a sense of balance is something you can't clearly comprehend, but Cooper's had plenty of resources to get us ticking, certainly no less than Potter.

Maybe you need to give yourself the day off, you're not thinking straight.

We get it, Cooper is your bff and you won't hear a bad word about him. The failures aren't his fault and every success requires an "I told you so" thread to shame the unbelievers.

Laterally and outside the box? Behave mun.

I haven’t got a dog in this fight, but that is typical column writers bollocks.

Cooper this season has £20m less to work with than Cooper last season and has about £35m less to work with than Potter had. Potter had four signing none of whom are still playing at the club. Potter also had the benefit of the cream of the academy players McBurney and James. Potter did not have Covid to deal with.

Some outside US money has came in to plug the loss of gate reciepts. The Trust (fans) should be delighted with Cooper as he has got by without their savage dillution by using greater amounts of US cash. The Trust have held on the their 21% in these very hard times and have not a penny to help Cooper out or save the academy despite being worth £21m in the PL. Cooper is proving a very shrewd operator getting results the hard way. Not ideal for the purists but we are in a crisis.

“Horrific side to watch .... No creative industry...”. Something fishy about your posts.

We’ve been a joy to watch recently.
Grimes, Ayew and now Gibbs-White, Lowe are creating Through the middle whilst Bidwell and Roberts are giving us creative width.
You’ve either not Been watching or have some personal vendetta. Let it go.

So it's "a joy to watch" or "personal vendetta"? We're back to conspiracy theories to explain why someone doesn't love the football under our manager. How could anyone dare not adore a side that deservedly lost 2-0 to a League Two side just over a week ago?

Where is this viral thread? I wouldn't mind seeing it, surprised I missed it.

Not sure what the OP's expecting? Cooper the new messiah is it? We won, but it was all very poor.

Weird.

"It was all very poor". Classic exemplar of a supporter dwelling on stuff.

A 1-0 win away to a strong Preston, continuing the form of our epically entertaining run-in. Plenty of positives to build on, yet nobody's talking of Messiah.

Some fans are understandably upbeat and looking forward to the next outing. Some choose to wallow, always. Weirder.

Surely I should be able to find a viral thread?

Not wallowing in anything here, I've just made a statement of fact and I'd invite any of you disprove it.

The problem with you and people like you is that you’re inflexible and stubborn without the ability to look at the wider picture

Your “ it was all very poor “comment following the excellent win at Preston being a good example. It wasn’t all very poor was it? Our lads defended resolutely, attacked sensibly when they we’re able to and managed to work hard enough as a unit to grind out a verygood 1-0 away win.

Of course there’s room to improve. Players still settling in and will get better. Without crowds at these games the entertainment value is diminishing though and it’s affecting all games from the Premier League down, I’m sure with 2,000 Jacks there last Saturday the reaction would be completely different

Try to be more expansive with your thoughts and try to appreciate the trying times for all. That’s the financial and Covid problems.
