Correct, and if the Millwall fans boo that, then I will jump aboard the outrage bus too.

| Taking the knee on 09:18 - Dec 8 with 1034 views | AnotherJohn | The big mistake in all this was the marginalisation of "Kick it Out" in order to jump on the BLM bandwagon. That brought with it huge political baggage that divided fans who had previously been fairly solidly behind the earlier initiative. The Millwall players linking arms rather than kneeling tonight is a step in the right direction. The ending of kneeling and Black power salutes, combined with changing the BLM label on kit (and Sky) to "Kick it Out", offers a chance to retrieve the situation, although an awful lot of damage has been done by foolish football and TV executives. Incidentally there is an interesting debate here with Femi on one side and a young Black woman on the other. | Taking the knee on 20:17 - Dec 7 by trampie | I would expect somebody like you Catullus to vote for Tony Blair, no surprise there you come across as a right Blairite. |
And you would be wrong, I'm just not a far to the left as you Tony Blair was a disgrace, he fooled a lot of people, many cleverer people than myself too. Must try harder Trampie eh? "Someone like you to vote for Blair" When you openly admit you don't kmow about PFI which was such a big story I can only puzzle over why you feel entitled to make any political accusations from such a position of ignorance. Of course you could be dissembling and/or disingenuous and just wanted to avoid having to comment on it?

I will be very surprised if all the players abandon the action of taking the knee this evening.

| Taking the knee on 19:10 - Dec 8 with 927 views | Wingstandwood | Many now associate the act of kneeling with Antifa, BLM, Marxist agitators, defund-the-police, social justice warriors, WOKE/far left looneys, black-power militancy and troublemaking rent-a-mobs etc. It came with a lot of public disorder and division. Who in their right mind would want to celebrate all that? Linking of arms is certainly a more dignified, lesser provocative and gentler alternative. It is nice to see the likes of Muhammed Ali's son and (as of yesterday!) Trevor Philipps's and other black people of influence voicing their disproval with the BLM farce. The best way to stick two fingers to the lunacy witnessed over the last few months is for football crowds to give an extremely dignified and supportive response to a far more sensible and peaceful alternative. . | |

Good to see the Millwall players United this evening standing behind thier kick racist out banner and the Millwall fans applauding. Well done millwall for taking a stand against BLM's political agenda and concentrating on kick racist out.
