Exactly, if you look how many players that have come through our system that are plying their trade in the EFL and Scotland shows what a success it has been. |  |

We don't play a traditional "10" though, our 3 in midfield are more fluid and swap positions. I agree with others. He's too injury prone, too selfish and not right for us, even if he stayed fit.
I'm not sure about Cardiff, under Harris he wouldn't have worked, under McCarthy we'll have to wait and see. | |

I watched him play for Wales and i saw a player running down blank alley ways desperately fishing for free kicks, and not getting them. He effectively ended all good Welsh moves by hogging the ball not releasing James and Brooks and losing possession. This was at games at the CCS.
However later in the Giggs regime I did see an improvement on TV games. He was running at defenders and releasing the ball quicker before being tackled to the benefit of the Welsh wingers. Mick McCarthy has worked with him before and clearly can use the player. [Post edited 3 Feb 2021 16:25]
