Joshua - Fury 10:56 - May 12 with 4287 views | britferry | Looks like its gonna take place but they're taking it to Saudia Arabia. Not only a kick in the teeth for the British sports fans but going there for money, with all their human rights issues, its just plain wrong.

Joshua - Fury on 18:59 - May 12 with 1769 views | shingle | The ppv will go through the roof, and will probably cost at least £30 to £40 maybe more, sadly people will pay for it as they have done so for years, yet if everybody in the past had refrained from paying PPV if only for lets say 3 events in a row then PPV would not exist today yet these big fights would still take place due to the vast site fees and Broadcasting fees etc, but all that will always go over the heads of so many unfortunately. PPV is sheer greed and propaganda maintained by the idiots that pay for it.
Joshua - Fury on 19:06 - May 12 with 1763 views | DwightYorkeSuperstar | Anthony Joshua speaking at Black Lives Matter protest in Watford: "We can no longer sit back and remain silent on these senseless, unlawful killings," world heavyweight champion tells gathering. We need to be united in non-violent demonstrations, show them where it hurts, abstain from spending your money in their shops and economies, and invest in black-owned businesses" Killing a person outright is unforgivable, but stripping them of their human rights, oppressing them, mocking them, insulting them, placing glass ceilings above them just because of what? Their skin colour? It's just a slow way of killing them and taking the life out of their soul. We must unite as a human race and that's what we're doing here today." https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/boxing/anthony-joshua-speech-black-lives-matter And now he's off to Saudia Arabia after they offered him tens of millions of pounds of Saudi Arabian blood money. These people who quite literally murder journalists for speaking against them, enslave people from other countries they deem to be beneath them. Anthony Joshua is scum. And so is Tyson Fury.

This. If you want morality connected to your sport, Boxing is the wrong place to look. Just be thankful that the two main Champions aren't dodging each other.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

I like them both. AJ seems a sharp young fella and Tyson I can only have respect for with how he came back from the brink to do what he did. So wouldn’t call them scum, just making poor decisions based on money. However I agree, and was the point many were making at the time that these woke movements are utterly shallow and meaningless, they were about social media likes and proving you were not a bad person in the witch hunt; as opposed to actually wanting to do or say anything meaningful. Joshua’s stance on oppression (that wasn’t really happening) should be constant, to be so outspoken on the subject he shouldn’t be setting foot in Saudi Arabia who are the poster boys of oppression and human rights violations up there with China and Iran. For example the other half and I wanted to visit the Great Wall of China next year, covid dependant, we won’t be setting foot in that country while they are ethnically cleansing the Uyghurs. It’s disgusting what they are doing. Was the same with the NBA and LeBron. Happy to fight fashionable false oppression for social media likes but when it came to actual oppressors giving them sponsorship cash... more than happy to keep quiet on their behalf to keep those contracts in tact. See also Ozil speaking up against China and Arsenal distancing themselves from him for commercial reasons while pretending to stand for unity on a match day in front of the cameras. Just sickening really. It’s an utterly vile and false world at the moment driven by social media and the amount of people that fall for it or get caught in the web is mind blowing.

And with a ridiculous 75 mill each coming there way i doubt if any of them will care what people think of them i would love to see either of them in a street fight with a top UFC fighter mind you both would be humbled in seconds.

Gypsy traveller fighting is essentially just bare knuckle boxing, there are rules. No kicking or have to let them up if they fall. A trained professional MMA fighter would ruin Fury in seconds, no joke. I doubt Fury has much, if any experience fighting on the ground or grappling. The second he gets taken to the floor it’s all over, these guys can break your arm without much sweat. Especially if you don’t know what you (or more importantly they) are doing. Brazilian jiu jitsu is what most of them specialise in. There is a reason MMA fighters go to the boxing world to fight boxers using boxing rules but you will never get a boxer going to fight a UFC fighter with UFC rules. It wouldn’t be a contest or any sort of viewing spectacle, literally over in seconds no matter how tough or good a boxer you are.

Are you saying Fury would beat a top UFC fighter in a street fight surely not, he would be literally torn apart in no time, he would be taken down and god knows what type of beating he would receive, would be the same outcome for AJ as well i would imagine..

Spot on, you only have to look at James Toney one of the toughest Boxers ever and an excellent world champion who never got stopped or finished in Boxing as far as i can remember, he went to the UFC and got easily stopped and put to sleep in the first round. [Post edited 14 May 2021 19:13]

Mo Farah would smash Usain Bolt in a marathon. Doesn’t detract from Bolt in any way. They aren’t MMA fighters and don’t claim to be. If people aren’t interested in it, they don’t have to watch it.

Spot on, pity its got to be staged in Saudi, but that's greed for you, but its a fight as a boxing fan that I wantt to watch, not particularly bothered who wins either, strangely, they've both earned their chance.

Fury has serious power, he just chooses to box and not throw power punches. Freddie Roach said so aswell, Fury said he was going to take Wilder out, didn’t he floor him with a jab? Joshua is more about volume of punches and not knock out power aswell. Hasn’t got the chin to take anything though. I think Wilder knocks Joshua out personally never mind Fury.
