Thanks.
I just wonder if the question is asked when you enquire about taking a player on loan.
Common sense tells you that it is a question that will be asked. Fans presumably would not be impressed if Rhys Williams went into 10 days isolation.
All players have choices. To go on a bender, to drive to too fast, too sleep around, to have a joint, to eat fatty sugary foods, to visit dubious websites, to become a committed Christian and refuse to play on Sundays, to be a committed Muslim and refuse to play on Fridays to retire from international football, to feign injury. Refusing the vaccine is also a choice with consequences.
All have consequences for their employer who will take their choices into consideration.
Ollie starts today. Darren Pratley captains Leyton Orient. Tom James at right back, who we were linked with back when Connor was considered another no-hoper academy kid we had to improve on.

Had another good game. Passed him by a bit in the first half as Newport were wastefully banging it long at every opportunity, but crafted one chance for himself out of nothing. Much more involved second as Orient tried to sit back on their lead and Newport decided they could actually pass it around a bit. Played as a 10 behind two strikers again, then moved out to the right wing late on. Still taking players on in injury time, won a free kick that came close to winning the game at the death. One of few County players to get the fans off their seats.
Ref was a shambles. Let so many clear fouls go. On the Championship list according to the commentators. Won't be for long I imagine.
Pitch looks excellent. No rugby on it yet I think.

So to clarify, one player in the first team bubble tests positive. All those double jabbed can carry on and any player not must isolate?
Same with work, Brother just had Covid, but his Wife/Partner had to go to work as she is double jabbed, she did do a test though which was negative of course.
I will add that Brother was stuck in bedroom with no contact, my nephew tested positive as well, but had no symptoms, he was also confined to his bedroom

This reiterates my point. We do not know which of the players have been double vaxed and who have not. It is very easy to say a certain player should go out on loan and not another. But if I was taking a player on loan I would only take them if they had been double vaxed. Perhaps this is a reason some have remained at the club.

Just behind front two imo
The lads class just hope we can keep him till may
With the system we're now playing we're crying out for another option who gets between the lines, takes the ball on the half turn and move towards goal. Can't see us recalling him, though. Overloaded with midfielders and strikers, would take some injury crisis and I'm sure some here would prefer we bring in some PL academy player rather than show faith in one of our own.
Good to see Aaron Lewis back in the team.

Injury crisi aside, I'd like to keep him out on loan and 'm sure he will stay. Seems to have fitted in seamlessly there and playing really well. Can only be good for the lad.
If we did have a crisis though, I'd much prefer him back thn a loan.

Agreed, Jackrmee.
It’s good for our young players to go out o loan and learn the ropes of professional football, so to speak, obviously in an environment that is conducive for them to succeed. There’s only so many spots available in the squad, and if they are essentially just going to be playing in the u23s it’s not really going to help them too much in the long run.
There are different circumstances and situations that contribute to that, of course, but in general if a kid is pushing 20 or older they really need to play games with grown men on a consistent basis. Pretty much every player who goes out on loan, even if they have a difficult one, will comment that it was good for their development in many ways, specifically in regard to maturing as a person. That is why finding the right club and manager, along with inserting a recall clause in the deal, is so important in these decisions.
But, fair play to the club, so far we seem to have nailed it this season with the players who have gone out. Joseph, Cooper and Garrick all getting a lot of minutes and doing well and, and I expect them to continue to. Having said that, I agree that if we were to have an injury crisis and need them back, we should absolutely do it. The club comes first.
