I m struggling to think of any player or manager I have hated as an individual.If I have ever given that impression then I have been very clumsy with my language and apologise to anyone offended . I do bite though and when I feel insulted I do not do what most suggest and ignore it ;I d rather rip into people.Sadly ,living here I cannot straighten people out face to face- and that is not a threat Rog.
I ve hated what plenty have done for sure and loved more for what they did,like Roberto and Brendan on whom I confess as having a mancrush mainly as they put us on the football map and kicked 'rse. Many were insulted by Roberto leaving a he did and called him all sorts of names. I don't remember those getting much stick though.

I am a gang of one with few silent supporters who keep the heads below the parapet.
My position is as follows.
a) I support the US owners and thank them for their recent loan.
b) I encourage them to convert the loan and dilute passive investors. (fairly)
c) I believe the SCST and the US owners have identical objectives (Making big money).
d) I encourage the SCST to come to an accommodation with other shareholders.
e) I applaud Jenkins Morgan and Dineen. Their work was exceptional.
f) Cooper did not seem to be a good team player and had to go. SCFC now has a tight team. Manager/Chairman/ Recruitment/ Owners. Cooper did a good job overall.
g) I believe Swansea are back on a upward and sustainable trajectory having a strong management team and solved the long term 'defect' of poor recruitment.
h) Huw Jenkins should have a stand named after him.
So why is there hostility to the US owners? Poor PR is one reason. I believe Swansea city fans, (being largely Anglophones) copy the logic of big 'working class' urban English team's while forgetting they are very different. Swansea city fans are OWNERS. Not like Liverpool or Arsenal at all. Gripes of Arsenal or Liverpool fans are not relevant to Swansea who have a man in the boardroom. Some fans would rather protest march than speak to their man on the board.
The man on the board needs to speak the same language as Levien, Kaplan, Silverstein the language of progress development growth and profit. (big profit). There is no need to share it with 3rd parties unless it is with some one like Ty Hafod or similar. This may reduce tax obligations.
Of course anyone who supports the current ownership will run into the south Wales prevailing political consensus which supports state ownership and decisions made by democratically elected "not for profit" committees. This is similar to the WRU which really did not work very well. Welsh rugby went into serious decline until reformed and made business friendly. |

I believe these good guys are more vulnerable to racism than in their home clubs due to this tolerant complacent attitude to racial abuse in Wales. This is not an opinion you have herd anywhere else. It is a theory that need investigating.

No, this is it, I'm not saying I'm the biggest fans of the American owners but I give them credit where it's due. That's called being unbiased and unblinkered. They aren't bad owners.
