Russia invade Ukraine 14:17 - Dec 23 with 151265 viewsFlynnidine_Zidownes

Discuss.

Also why is Putin always described in the media as this rugged strongman? He’s barely five foot tall with his high heels on.

But that’s another debate.

Did the West send troops in then? Did the people of Ukraine object to the change in government, or are they happy with it? It seems the latter is true because there was no unrest afterwards and they are rallying behind the current government too.

Democracy is the will of the people. if the people wanted a change, got that change and are happy with it, why should Russia be allowed to change it by military action? Military action that some on here seem to agree with.

The US , did not send troops in, they aren't that open, they do it covertly. No, the ppl didn't get a choice as their chosen representatives were removed by force. There was unrest and there still is an ongoing conflict in the east, as the Russians there don't want to be governed by Neo Nazis

So it’s started
The West are following orders from WEF. They are desperate for regime change in Russia, so that they can insert their own leader there.....think Canada, NZ, Australia, France, Germany, US, Austria, and many more!

They aren't governed by Neo nazis. That removed "chosen representative" had sidled up to Putin and the people didn't like it, that's why there had been no unrest in Ukraine since Yanukovych was deposed. The Ukrainian people are happy with Zelenskyy.

The ongoing conflict in the east is cause by RUSSIAN interference, they backed separatists with weapons AND manpower and then lied about Russians being massacred to generate a reason for what is now an invasion.

Putin is threatening the whole world with his threats of "never before seen consequences" and we are now in a very dangerous situation.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Hats off, that's a great post.

Except that when Yanukovych won he wasn't pro Russia. During his presidency, Mr Yanukovych steered Ukraine towards a closer relationship with the EU. But then, days before it was due to be signed, he rejected an association agreement in November 2013, Street protests, the biggest since the 2004 Orange Revolution, erupted and continued for months, reaching a bloody climax between 18-22 February.

After rejecting the EU agreement he turned to Putin. That was why the people removed him. that is why there have been no protests since, the current government has been doing what the people want.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Not according to 73 - 73, he thought it was hysterical that people were wary of this happening. Well he's wrong again, like many times before.

At the end of the day the West seemingly having their hands all over overthrowing a democratically elected Government (who were pro Russian) in the Ukraine to get in a pro English/American/German one with the aim of getting missiles on Russia's doorstep pointing at them has proved a step too far.

All this regime change the West particularly America have instigated across the world has now lead to a major problem.

Yanukovych wasn't a declared pro Russian when he won, he held talks with the EU but then turned down the agreement and turned instead to Putin.

It was when he turned to Russia the protests started and he was deposed. There have been no protests about Zelenskyy because he is who the Ukrainians want in power.

Putin doesn't want Zelenskyy because he is more pro West.

On the contrary, you have no understanding of the Russians rationale, you fall for Western propoganda, there are hundreds of articles on the net about America instigating regime change via nefarious means across the World, Ukraine has the West's mucky paws all over it.

That's just nonsense and you know it. What I posted is a fact, Yanukovych held talks with the EU then turned Pro Russian later upon which his own people ousted him.

What rationale do you refer to then?

Do you think Russia has never interfered in another country? Russia and the USA have been interfering in other countries for decades, centuries.

Rationale you say, that's just you making excuses for Putin. He's started a war, lets hope it doesn't end with us all dead.

For once, we agree, on something.

You probably will disagree on what I will say next though...

The Democrat party of the United states have caused this situation, agitated for it...they have taken Ukrainian money and used the CIA and other branches of government to play games on Russia's border...

...they then made it impossible for a Trump administration to fix the situation by paying for the concoction of the 'Russia hoax'. As a result, Trump couldn't make any agreements with Russia without being accused of being in Putin's pocket.

...they then fixed an election (as the CIA has fixed elections all over the World) to ensure that their people could come back in and resume their project.

Putin has seen that they have pushed things too far and the cat is out of the bag, he sees that their actions has split America...FFS, do not expect the sons of 'the deplorables' to go and fight your wars for you and clean up your mess,

The Left has made it's bed, now it has to lie in it. Enjoy.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Well that's a convenient way of looking at the World, a way which absolves responsibility for political parties' actions.

...and let's off all those Left wing numpties who claimed Trump was going to start WWIII and had to be removed by any means possible, those people who defended everything the Democrats and their paramilitary revolutionary groups got up to in the last 5 years...which they must really appreciate now that we are actually on the brink of WWIII with the weakest President' and administration, which has no political support...because they rigged an election...isn't it?
