You only need to watch the first 5 minutes, if that's not enough to convince you,, I give up. He'd struggle to get into a fair few Conference teams. If anyone thinks we can anywhere next season with him in goal is living in cloud cuckoo land. |

Well, I didn’t write it but what did Fisher do wrong today ? |
He looked so fragile again yesterday Keith.
He doesn't command his area, come and catch the ball from corners etc and generally offers so no confidence.
His control with the ball at his feet was okay, but i spent the 96 minutes of the game just waiting for the error.
Obviously it was down to Grimes this time.
However, Fisher needs replacing with a more experienced keeper and be allowed to learn his trade from the bench. |  |

Playing out from the back isn't the problem. The problem is we don't seem to know when we can pass it short or when we need to get it away.
Grimes today, what a criminal mistake that was.
Then after Grimes cock up we went more direct, went at Boro and soon equalised at which point we went back to how we were doing it before. Why do we have to cut ourselves open before performing surgery on the oppo?
Res, the best teams have the best players, players who don't make the mistakes we have been doing so agonisingly regularly all season. Even those very best of the best players know that sometimes you just have to get rid of the ball. |
Great point. We were back to our lethargic best today - then we went behind and came back more directly then scored and I thought here we go let’s start really hurting Boro but no we went back to being our frustrating selves.

Not really,only when the press is less than 10 yards from our goalline.
It's harder to score from 60yards out than it is from 6.

Personally I would have put Fisher behind Naughton, level with Obafemi, but ahead of Piroe who I thought had a poor game on Saturday. His shooting was off and made some poor decisions, but you can't be brilliant every week. | | | |
