Martin has to deliver. Not getting 3 point from a 4-1 position with 30 mins to go against a poor team is careless and Russ needs to be aware this is not a university research lab where experiment and education of students is the target.
I was philosophical about the Reading collapse as long as the lessons were learned. A collapse like that when Swansea are 2nd or 3rd would be lot harder to take.
If this seasons games are the rehearsals then next season the pressure will be on. It could be Allen was linked with other clubs and this is not a good time when recruitment work is in full swing. [Post edited 24 Apr 2022 12:48]

They’ve had nearly a full season of experimentation and still make the same mistakes, no strategy to drive forward - at least not often enough - and fart about under pressure.
I understand the passing around the back but surely once you’ve encouraged the press, then you have to know what to do with it. That doesn’t include passing it backwards again. But hey , what do I know!

We scored 56 goals in 46 last season to date we have scored 54 in 43. An average of .04 goals per game more yet we have conceded far more. We gave to okay Forest and Bournemouth Rio so I suspect that goal difference swing of -22 from last season s positive goal difference to worsen…. I always look both bright side me | |
