We are starting from a point where the latest accounts show a £4 million loss.
We are in the fortunate positions to have three brilliant players, of which selling one should give us enough money to be solvent, plus reinvest in the market for a few low price gems.
This is the reality.
I would rather that reality than splash out money ( or borrow even), only to find ourselves unsuccessful and in greater debt.
Any attempt for promotion, under Martin or any other manager has to be done using the financially sustainable model.
This would be the same under almost any owners.
The likelihood of getting a rich owner to bankroll us to the EPL is very slim. |

There's 16 other players who have scored an equal or greater number of goals than Obafemi and most do not have a toxic history of poor attitude and tantrums accompanying them.
Downes is certainly nothing special. He doesn't stand out in our woeful team and certainly doesn't look capable of dislodging the likes of Sissomo, Bissouma or others who play his position better at bottom half Premier League teams.
I have not read the accounts, however I'd be truly amazed if we made a £4m loss without including the Rodon sale. I'd imagine that loss includes the Rodon money.
Selling one of our players probably isn't enough, unless we are able to obtain an obscene fee - something I can't recall us achieving since selling Dan James for £15m purely based on two televised goals which went 'viral'. |  |

Both good Championship players and I feel Obafembi has flown under the radar a bit with our own fans. I have a feeling he’d interest The Parachute Clubs with money to spend rather than Premiership clubs wanting to get a gamble.

In a way,I blame Piroe and Oba for not chinning him or at least making a deputation to Winter that he is killing the team. They are not comfortable with how they are being set up and Im pretty sure many will be wanting to exit asap,especially Piroe,who has got Martin out of jail all season,even thoiugh he's played out of position.
I wish his fan club would offer support for the young players he's destroying and the decent pros like Bennett and Fulton,shamelessly jettisoned. Neither are great exactly but they would have given us some solidity ,which we have lacked all season.
