I never use the ignore function as a rule. I’m open to debating sensibly with anyone, even the trolls on here. I can’t control the behaviour of others though, that’s the issue. Adapting my experience on here to cater to them is not something I can ever see myself doing.
I’ll always reply to those that seek to abuse me online though, always. It is better via Pm though so it doesn’t clog the thread, but I think they want their attacks to be seen, that’s the issue.

Have a look back at the conversation between you two, so you not think you both come across a bit silly ? If you eg didn’t reply an hour ago, it would’ve stopped. It truely baffles me why some anal individuals on here have to be put on ‘ ignore ‘.
Surely this ‘status’ gives them a reason to be ‘proud’ of their twisted achievements rather than just being ignored uniformly without recognition and treated with the contempt they most certainly deserve ?

I put some people on ignore to uniformly ignore them, I even said goodbye so maybe they know (by my lack of response to them) that they are ignored.
Most recently I have put 2 Russian apologists on ignore because reading their posts supporting Russia's invasion of Ukraine was sickening.

There is an accepted list of posters who are immune form any possiblility of a ban for breaking site rule.
P has not broken any ,many other have,notably Winston and Fireboy free to due what they please. As is obvious.

Cause : effect. Every time. Simple to see, simple to moderate, simple to remedy.
Cut out the root cause / the offender, protect the victim. There's an ongoing pattern of blatant offensive behaviour from a gang of usual suspects. Needs cutting out.
The offenders need to remember the key rule of engagement :
