Def don’t John. I was lucky but hadn’t work hard to retire when I did, and risked a lot to get there, life threatening stuff which his why the odd abuser on Twitter and on here no longer bother me. In fact their interest in this site, it’s occupants and writers I see as a positive, the more they write the more views we get. I’ve had many new memberships here as a result of people who have read some of the BS floating around on Twitter, and they have had the intelligence to look about this site and find out for themselves. Many have said how much they enjoy the website daily and it’s information. They came as doubters and are now an integral part of the many thousands of views we get. So long may the few dissenters continue, I thank them all. 😂👠

So why am I negative? Because Im not happy clapping? Here we are at the end of the season of transition and can you tell me you have real confidence we will finish in a much imorived postion next season? Martin sytem is flawed many with good football knowledge have discussed i on here. There is all this talk of a reversion to the Swansea way Neither MArtinez or Brendan played with 3 at the back. Usually they played 4-1-4-1 using wingers with the full back overlapping too MArtin has mainly gone 5-4-1 with the full backs pushing high up the field. This has left us exposed an area Notts Forews exploited both at the Liberty and the City ground, other teams have seen this too. at the start of the season we had high pass stats and possession stats as we passsed the ball in our defensive third or mostly in our own half with short passes I witnessed Naughron and Grimes exchange about 5 passes just insided our half just back and fore when they were maybe 5 yards aprt if that the ball never went forwards just sideways. Last season Grimes was often found carrying the ball forwards or spraying nice long passes such as the one leading to Obafemis goal at Forest at the start of the season he hardly did this ...in fairness since March there seems to have been an adoption of a change in approach we no longer send the ball back to the keeper from a kick off but tend to pass a long ball out towards the wing at least we have netured into the oppositions half then. I could on but I know I would become even more boring I guess. Sorry for that but I do like to bck my opinions with facts not just emotion.

Roger lifey Im afraid posts nothing of consequence;he merely derides anyone slagging off the team/club/coach/Wales the language. He is utterly unable to have a meaningful discussion with like you and I. If every post was basically the same, this site would be dead .No discusion means no interest. It is positive to ask questions. If nobody else will,I certainly will as Im not bothered about being "negative, unpopular or a vile and scum as some have referred to me. If Lifey cannot stand to see discourse that he disagrees then its down to him to ignore. The best posters are those with whom you can disagree ,and the more the better. We disagree on stuff and I'm not sure we'd resort to the tactics Lifey/Winston resort too. Bear in mind,I have been exchanging with lifey for 15 years, longer with Winston. They will tell you I have always slagged off every manager and every player whilst kicking the stadium cat in the nuts. Serious question. Are there any pro Martin posters with whom you agree, even if your views on Martin differ ? Just seems to me the only ones you really get on with are Dr P, AC, Vetch and a few others who are not in favour of Martin ? Many of us err towards those with similar views so would not be that unusual ? Not having a dig, just a genuine question ?

I suppose I get labelled anti Martin because I am critical....just as those who were critical of Cooper but unlike many of Coopers critics I have no agenda based on Martin's place of origin or appearance. I was on his case early doors beacuase so much was posted on here of how the football was so much better this season yet we were not winning or even creating chances. I sat through a couple of bore fests at home saww pretty short passes but no penetration. Like I say I dug intp MArtin and learnt a lot....45 games on thats 35 more than the 10 were we asked to give him I have seen nothing to say that next season wont end up with more of the same. For a while I was wavering as it seemed MArtin was changing .....but he does still seem to revert type and now it seems next season will also be one of transition as whispers abound pf Christie and Wolf not returning next season. Yuo are right though as the saying goes "birds of a feather flock together" ......

Yep, I’m not anti-Martin, I’m anti-rubbish. If Martin starts managing us properly then I will be very much pro Martin. I’m afraid after writing off a year of football to get to 15th position with only one of these “transition games” left, with almost no glaring issues fixed that were there 8 months ago is something I do not find worthy of praise. I react to what’s going on. I believe this side is top 6 quality. Accepting 15th and such abject tactical awareness and senseless system set up is not something I can see myself doing. I was hoping he would change and adapt (permanently not just to buy some results), in fact I backed him to do just that. But he seems extremely stubborn and blind to the errors in the system so I have very little faith he will change. That is the reason I feel the club is better off going in a different direction. I’ve seen nothing to suggest he can mount a promotion challenge, which of course is what we should be pushing for. 3 seasons in management with very good squads for the level they are at, yet his best ever finish is 13th. The second he leaves MK Dons they are transformed into a side that finished 1 point off automatic promotion such is the quality of the squad he had. It’s a no from me.

Serious questions eh. I know not who are PRO Martin .I don't know, neither do you,if posts are not made with ulterior motives. I most certainly do not believe our fan base accepts our club slagged off by the coach a not being somehow proper. No previous manager has publically said that. Unlike some I do not keep a list of posters of what they believe. I detest what angry says about Police but on other isues I agree and disagree. Try it. I detest failure and this season has been just that Serious answer. If you want to pose any more serious questions on footnball or world matters PM me

On this thread or on this forum? I think there is a hardcore pro Martin group on here that attack anyone who says anything they deem remotely “negative”. The reality of where we are, how we are performing and Martin’s obliviousness to it all just appears to be an ‘irritating inconvenience’ to them as opposed to a reality check. I genuinely think we could have been relegated this season and they would have been fine with it. “A blessing in disguise and a necessary step to rebuild” I’m sure would be the angle of approach for it. People are entitled to be as pro Martin in the face of such rubbish as they like by the way. But it’s important to note they aren’t the ones being attacked, those that are being attacked are those that say it how it is and are unhappy with the way things are going. I fully expect, should we beat QPR this week, that the narrative will be set for the summer that we are in ‘good shape’. We are of course anything but. I did some working out earlier as I saw a discussion surrounding Coopers alleged reliance on Ayews goals last season. The fact is Martin relies on Piroes goals more than twice as much… and we are 15th with them. He is heavily rumoured to be heading off this summer. Where does that leave us? This season - 19 points less without Piroes goals. Last season - 9 points less without Ayews goals I’m very concerned for us and personally think we are in terrible shape.

Dr I do not really believe people are pro Martin at all. Ive read leaders on the site then see "support" for Martin and his project. We are woeful.Nowt wrong with saying that. It is how we correct matters. There have been NO positives this season. Nada. Piroe is not as he will be exiting soon and good lick to this tremendous lad who was dumped unceremoniously at the start of the season. We have utterly neglected young players especially Joseph who is quick and physical ,as is Garrick, criminally out in Plymouth pastures. We have ended shipping 3 goal leads then trashed 5-1.That is no progress,no transition at least not in a progressional sense. We will see a considerable drop off in numbers next season and if the current coach is still here come October, alarm bells will truly be ringing loud. By Christmas it will be too late. Finally, the most disappointing season in years, one where we have conceded obscene goals and been trashed as we have not been for many years. Player of the season for me.young Cabango;not the greatest but a real warrior and one who has been shockingly messed around.

Forget it Doc P I got involved in a discussion on anther thread re Piroe and his goals and someone kept arguing those goals could have been scored by a.n.other striker who we may have signed in place of Piroe...I gave up in the end. I do fesar even Piroe is coming out with this speak saying how we "can win the league" with a full preaseason and signing players" https://www.walesonline.co.uk/ As you say 35 games beyond the target many set on here when those of us started calling Martin out little has changed to give me the confidence we will see improvments next season. Yes there have been some tweaks as I have poiinted out elsewhere but nothing that shows we will be promotion contenders .

There certainly has been positives, boils down to the individual but doesn't cement each ones expectancy as being right or wrong. As it stands I would expect a better season next year but unfortunately we don't know what the summer will bring so for me to expect 100% a better season next season... It would be Foolish of me to expect it at this early stage. I am going to give you compliment here OHL, there are no agendas with you Swansea City wise although I think you are hasty on times, you will still be calling out Martin if we are bottom or if we are top of the league, you will still call him out from your own takings on him... Your consistent and have no agenda towards any individual at the club and that can only be congratulated. As I say, the summer will have a big part to play on any forthcoming season so as much as I expect from how this season as progressed to expect a better one next season, I will as any decent football person be it a fan or a manager, I will see what happens during the summer. Our recent finances will suggest player/s will move on and again that is another indication as to where we are as a club. The summer will be interesting and what Martin does for the first few months of that season will certainly make or break him after his first season here.

Thank goodness for our wonderful NHS. Similar thing happened with my mum’s illness which scuppered their retirement. Exactly why we don’t want to work into our 60s. I’ve seen colleagues work into 60s and collapsing with heart attacks. Don’t want to be working on multiple month trials staying away from home for ever more. Not thought of West Coast of Ireland but will certainly have a look. We just love Scotland. We not City people, somewhere with the beauty of Glen Coe eg. The idea of waking up and seeing the Scottish mountains and lochs or the sea is intoxicating

Don’t want to be working on multiple month trials staying away from home for ever more. Not thought of West Coast of Ireland but will certainly have a look. We just love Scotland. We not City people, somewhere with the beauty of Glen Coe eg. The idea of waking up and seeing the Scottish mountains and lochs or the sea is intoxicating |
Unfortunately the NHS is not wonderful anymore. You can get what you describe in Wales, I'm surrounded by acres and acres of green fields and woodlands, no lakes or lochs on my patch mind just a couple of ponds.
