| Forest v Sheffield United tonight on 23:25 - May 17 by Dr_Parnassus | You said McBurnie and Brewster + Sharpe = four. That’s three in any school, I assure you. Cooper picked his keeper to save shots, it’s his job. His keeper had to save less shots than Sheffield United's keeper though, as Forest created the more dangerous chances over the two legs and absolutely deserve their place in the Final. Incredible scenes in Nottingham tonight where they are lauding their new hero. Just a fact. Now one game of course â˜ðŸ» |
Actually my predictive text typed Grabban. That is why I edited it and put McGoldrick ? So four names still = 4 when I was in school. Thoughts maths was your strong point ? Strange how the commentary picked on the fact that they had hardly mentioned the Sheff Utd keeper, if he was so busy ? Are you sure you aren't a NFFC supporter in disguise ? Or is it just Cooper you worship ? Honestly he left Swans almost 12 months ago. Get over him mun

And ? He is manager of NFFC, not SCFC. Think you are on the wrong forum son

What's embarrassing is your first sentence, they would have been an option other than 2 teenage strikers on the bench.

This is the post I replied to. Count them. That’s three, will be three in any school you attended too. What do you mean “if” he was so busy? I just provided you the facts. He was worked 33% more than Forests keeper. These are facts. The commentator rightly said Forest could have won the first leg by four. I agree with him. I don’t worship anyone, I like fairness and hate agendas. Some of your comments are just ludicrous. I’m here to provide the balance. So while you are calling him all the names you can think of - while lauding our joke of a manager… I will have the opinion of the rest of the football world that the job he has done there is one of the greatest jobs we have seen in this divisions history.

But you only counted three. Thankfully for Sheff United they were only missing a player in one position, which is the support striker next to MGW. Same as Forest who were also missing their striker in Grabban. That’s football, the best team won. 12 shots on target to 9.

Crying, you have lost me there, I'm adding balance just like you. I posted earlier what a great job Samba did in psyching them out in the penalties. I fully expect Forest to win the final now, will have to much for Huddersfield

Cause conflict? By saying Cooper has done a remarkable job? It’s that just a fact? Just because you don’t like a fact shouldn’t make you want conflict. We finished 15th. That’s horrendous. If you want me to be dancing in the streets pretending it’s some wonderful achievement while Cooper taking Forest from bottom the playoff final is some awful feat… then you are talking to the wrong person. Time to put me back on ignore I think lad. You are going to be dragging countless threads down if you get offended by facts and common sense. Cut it out.

Seems like you are quite upset about it, yes. There is no balance by saying that MGW had a non starter as a striker next to him when Forest had the same issue with their talisman Grabban out which you fail to mention. It’s the end of the season, injuries happen. Yes you praised the keeper, however the manager has masterminded this rise. I don’t see you giving him much credit for getting them to their first play off final in decades at his first attempt, after taking over them when they were rock bottom. That would be balance. Huddersfield finished 3rd, there is no guarantees they will beat a side that finished above them in the league. They certainly have more chance than we did against the clearly superior Brentford though. [Post edited 17 May 2022 23:58]

The score doesn’t count anymore. It’s about an injured sub now apparently. And his side have got to the play off final, but he’s still a bottler because his keeper made a save… or something. [Post edited 18 May 2022 2:24]

| Forest v Sheffield United tonight on 20:14 - May 17 by jasper_T | Sky having a few digs at us. "No right to be anywhere near the playoffs" both of Cooper's seasons, apparently. "Outperformed the budget", as if our wage bill didn't include the most highly paid player in the division. |
They are correct. Having Ayew on 80k a week was one hell of a hindrance. Having legacy contracts doesn’t mean you have a promotion budget, it means you are stuck over paying players affecting the ability to improve your squad. Give me a 10k Piroe and a 9k Obafemi over an 80k Ayew any day. Unfortunately due to the latter we couldn’t get the likes of the former. We had no business to be in those play offs, let alone have a chance to win them. We were around 9th or 10th favourites for the league in both seasons. Which was about the strength of our teams at the time. Cooper dragged us there kicking and screaming by changing our style to suit the players we had - something Potter failed to do. | Forest v Sheffield United tonight on 23:18 - May 17 by STID2017 | Okay you believe what you want. I will believe the truth, which is that United were the most dominant side over the bulk of both games. At 3-1 Cooper tried to sit back and hold out ( as he did with us in the second leg against Brentford ) and was a boot away from being caught out. Manager of the season ? You are joking. Huddersfield got to the final in normal time using only free transfers and loan players. If anything their manage should be manager of the season. |
according to our manager we have dominated lots of games this season despite us not getting a result so what does it mean. it's about winning....

| Forest v Sheffield United tonight on 22:50 - May 17 by STID2017 | What game were you watching ? Really. The only side that looked like winning that after United got level was United. Cooper's side sat on a lead, same as he did with us away to Brentford. Got away with it thanks to penalties. As I said before, he still hasn't won anything - yet. Come on Huddersfield |
againyo get it wrong..two seasons ago in the semi final second league Brentfords first goal an tie equaliser came from a breakaway when we had most of our players up for a corner...early in he game as Cooper tried to get a goal...he was slated by fans at the time how easy many forget

He created that chance, he wasn't given it. Sadly that chance was against Brentford, who were a better team than us both seasons as proven by their league finish. It was a chance, but far from a great one. We were heavy underdogs each time.
