For me they bring not a lot to the side.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

I think we have been kidding ourselves the team is actually better than would it really is. The whole squad is not good enough, an aging Joe Allen still looks leaps ahead of anyone else in the squad, is football intelligence is on a different level to the rest. The rest around him is just made of bottom of the championship/league one standard. I have resigned to the fact no manager would get a tune out of this squad. Wing backs are poor, no playmaker, no set piece specialist, no pace and too many kids learning their trade.

Even when you know, you never know?

Joe is well past his best, bless him but he is head and shoulders ahead of Grimes who will not be a shadow of what Joe once was.

Both these players in OP are poseurs.

He was deemed worthy of a chance and kept within the squad up to the point him being hooked, before halftime I'm not party with the inner workings of the Club but as an outsider looking in, being taken off then back into the academy doesn't seem great man management ( unless of course it was mutual decision )

He was in the dugout with the other squad players last night. Many of the u21s regulars train with the first team full time.

Agree both are becoming anonymous. They will still be his go to players before the youngsters. It just appears he won't trust the young players. One mistake they're binned.

That said,he didn't trust Bennett was no worse than what we have now,yet we paid him off he was that bad.We found the money for that.

Chris Morgan the Sheffield United commentator said after Ntcham had been on the pitch for approx 10 mins ...

" I've got to admit, since Ntcham had come on, he's been our (Sheff Utd) best player"

Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎

Ntcham jumping out of tackles etc.

I saw that it at the time, he's sh*thouse.

When he and Paterson were brought on I thought this isn't going to end well, and it didn't.

They shouldn’t both be on the pitch at the same time. They are luxury players who can win you a game with a bit of inspiration, but they are also passengers a lot of the time.

I think we can afford to carry one of them and hope they produce a bit of magic. Two of them is putting too much on their teammates.

Ok, Ntcham, there is (or at keast was) a player in there but he's either lost his bottle, his desire but probably both. He's a passenger.

Pato, I was critical of him last season, mostly over his "head not being in the right place to play" but he seems to me to be very over rated and maybe he just had a purple patch with us. He has been very hot and cold and can't even be hot off the bench these days, when, after an hour wathing, he should be gagging for it.

Personally, right now, I'd have neither on the bench and as much as I'm not keen on loaning the youngsters in when we should be using our own, play Oko-Flex because at least he tries.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Ntcham has talent,more than most.
It i alll about how he is coached and handled.
He could offer us far more.
At Blackpool ,he was triffic and ran the length of the field to knock it in. He can do it but and Martin has to find out why.

He’s been duff under four excellent coaches before he came to Swansea. Same attitude at all clubs.

That was my point Keith.
Talent.

If he had issues then why was he brought to us.

Ask that same question about other players brought in with varying issues, Walsh to start with, Ogbeta....answers on a postcard to RM at the Swansea.com.

I thought Patterson played OK and we created chances at the end we just caught out in injury time.

No doubt if we did not use any subs and were out on our feet at the end the manager would be getting stick as well.

My only criticism was our substitution seemed to planned two on 64 minutes. Perhaps we could have just used just one then see how the game changed before we used the second one.

If Paterson’s performance was ok what would he have to do for you to class him as ineffective?

Bottom line was that Ollie Cooper , a 21 year old showed far more than either he or Ntcham did and that’s criminal in my book. We could have played both Cooper and Congrieve and won that game. If Sheffield United are the best team in this league then we should be at least getting a play off place - they were adequate but when they needed to got the ball forward WAY QUICKER than we did. But there’s another 20 sides worse than them who also do that.

Short goal kicks crept back in too. Martin out.

So did Fulton, and he was more advanced than he’d normally be. Pato and Ntcham just didn’t put a shift in.

I think we’ll probably see Cooper subbed at 60/70 mins quite often. Aside from his talent and willingness to run at defenders or try a difficult, defence splitting pass, he’s always grafting. Sprinting, covering other players, tacking back etc. I’m not surprised he tires.

I've heard it suggested that RM has a game plan and sticks by it no matter what happens on the pitch. If he's decided that Cooper is coming off for Ntcham on 60 then it happens even if Cooper is our best player and still full of running. It seems a reasonable suggestion to me, given the way subs are made, often around the 60 mark and often a bit baffling and they end up having a bad effect on us. Oxford was ridiculous.

I hope he's not doing it that way becaus it's insane.

Cooper is a diamond.Forget his inexperience. The lad has it. End of.

Martin has form for ruining young players and Cooper needs protecting from him. Cooper can really go on and be a class player hopefully for us. If Martin fecks him around,he will be off.
This league is wide open and everal could go up and also down and we cannot afford the likes of Pato and Ntcham.Pato described by martin as a "Great "person,as he daid about Obefemi. Is the light appearing now folks. It is all about liars.Ive had a lifetime of them

Has Ntcham ever lasted the 90 mins?
Paterson, when was the last time he actually gave a 90 min performance?
Perhaps they should be paid pro rata and we’d be quids in.
All you hear from RM is how brilliant this or that lad is.
When what they actually need is the Fergie hair dryer treatment.
What other industry would put up with employees not earning their wages?
With the looming fear of people not being able to heat their homes or food, you wonder what planet these players are on.

Paterson and Ntcham should both be impact subs and shouldn’t be on the pitch at the same time.
