I love following our international team. Since 2014 it’s been a joy and attending tournaments has been something I never thought would happen.
However, even in the dark times all but the most one eyed must admit that’s it’s easier to support wales than England.
When we win it’s all bucket hats, Yma O Hyd and the anthem. When we lose it’s straight into ‘we’re a small country, we can’t be expected to win’.
As much as I don’t want England to win a major trophy (that’s too ingrained in me I’m afraid), I can’t gloat this time. We were so poor this time out it would be embarrassing. | | | |
